The best place ever for kids

The teacher we met is impatient and cold. Not nice to young children.

We are in our 6th year at MCHVF and cannot say enough about how special the school and community are. The teachers are top notch and have long tenures there (important and telling of their caliber and passion). The location cannot be beat, my children often go on nature hikes in valley forge and learn through experiencing all that the park has to offer. In fact, it is not uncommon to see a few horses walking by at any point during the day. The education and foundation they get is strong and has set them up for success in public grade school. Take a tour, you won’t be disappointed!

We absolutely love Montessori Children's House of Valley Forge. Years ago, I watched my much younger siblings go through the school and thought "one day I hope I can send my kids here". Fast forward 20 years and both of my Children are in the school and the teachers, programs, facilities, and community is everything I remembered and more. We started with the Parent Child program which provided our children a great foundation in the Montessori philosophy while also providing us as new parents support and access to vibrant community at the school. Since then, we have made meaningful connections within the school community, and most importantly our children are thriving. It's a special place, if you're evaluating options in the area, I encourage you to visit.

We have been part of the MCHVF family since we enrolled our daughter in their toddler program four years ago, and she is now in her final year, as a proud and confident kindergartener. This beautiful and special school has always been a safe, nurturing, challenging and loving space for her, and a supportive and friendly community for our family. The amazing group of teachers and supporting staff who show up every day for our kids have worked so hard to ensure they are able to go to school safely and happily, and the amount of transparency and communication is so helpful and refreshing. There are so many "extras" here- Spanish, music, art education, hands-on science, zoo-on-wheels, library, after school programs, full-day programs, book fair, field trips, - literal field trips! This school has Valley Forge National Park at its fingertips, and they use it as a regular extension of the classroom in a variety of special ways. We truly love this school, and we are so excited to watch our younger daughter learn and grow here when she enrolls next year!

MCHVF is a terrific school with beautiful facilities and wonderful teachers! Our son and daughter had exceptional experiences, and were both well ahead of other students when they joined the public schools. The parent community is welcoming and close knit—we met several dear friends during our time there. We’re very fortunate to have found MCHVF, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a Montessori education.

Love this school so much! Teachers are experienced, admin is organized and responsive, and the unique Montessori learning has advanced my child’s learning far ahead of grade level. Kids go on walks in the beautiful Valley Forge Park and the spacious classrooms are beautiful. We transferred from another Montessori school and couldn’t have been happier with the superior curriculum and dedicated teachers!

MCHVF is a fantastic school and our family loves being a part of this close-knit community. The overall team from leadership to the teachers is second to none and our children love it here. Additionally, the location is superb being at Valley Forge Park - couldn't ask for anything better for the kids!

Montessori Children's House of Valley Forge was an amazing discovery for our family! We initially had our older son in a traditional daycare. We later stumbled upon MCHVF and we are so thankful that occurred. Great teachers. Amazing setting in the National Park. Beautiful building. Amazing programs. Could go on and on about this school.

The teachers and the setting make this school outstanding. A terrific learning environment that really encourages children to grow. I would highly recommend this for toddler through to Kindergarten. The Montessori three year learning program that finishes with Kindergarten is excellent at this school. My daughter especially loves the Kindergarten special subjects of coding, percussion and sports.
