Mariner Montessori at Heights

Let me start by saying that my spouse and I love the staff at Mariner. Our little one is sweet, assertive, capable, and funny, in part, because of the amazing care that she has received from them. My daughter started about 9 months ago in the Infant 1 classroom (for the youngest babies at Mariner), graduated to Infant 2, and is now transitioning to Infant 3. She absolutely loved her Infant 1 teachers and cannot pull herself away from them when she sees them. Her Infant 1 teachers were supportive, caring, and gently helped her learn to eat, sleep, sit up, crawl, and stand, among other critical skills. Her Infant 2 teachers are equally supportive and caring, and they've asked more of her in all of the right ways. She now eats even better, walks, uses sign language, and is starting to talk. My daughter loves the Infant 2 classroom because the teachers have filled it with engaging toys, activities, and obstacles for her to overcome. Our experience with the teachers and administrators at Mariner has been super, and so we are not worried about her transition to Infant 3 - we are excited about it. Bottom line: If you are a parent looking for a place with people who will support, take great care of, and nurture your child, look no further than Mariner.

We’ve had an amazing experience at Mariner Montessori! Our son started here when he was just 8 months old, and the care and love he’s received have been incredible. The teachers in Infant 3 — Ms. Yaneli, Ms. Evelyn, and Ms. Ana — are absolutely wonderful. They create such a warm, nurturing environment, and we always feel confident leaving our little one in their care. Since attending, we’ve seen so much growth and development in our son — his social, motor, and communication skills have flourished, and we know the teachers have played a huge role in this progress. The care, attention, and engaging activities have truly set him up to thrive. We couldn’t be more grateful for the positive impact Mariner Montessori has had on our family.

Our daughter has attended Mariner Montessori in the Heights for over a year, since she started daycare at 5 months old. We have had the pleasure of being in 3 different classes, each with caring and attentive teachers. Our initial transition was difficult because she would not take a bottle at first. In Infant 1 class, Ms. Eudora was patient, creative and persistent until our daughter was a bottle drinking champ. In Infant 2, Ms. Cody and the team provided so many exciting activities and were so excited to share updates as our daughter's language, social, fine motor and gross motor skills progressed. In the Infant 3 class, we have seen her vocabulary and motor skills grow even more. Ms. Yaleni, Ms. Ana and Ms. Evelyn make sure all her needs are met and she is academically stimulated. We have always felt our daughter is safe and cared for as an individual and as a growing learner while at Mariner. The building is new and is kept clean and decorated for various seasons and holidays. The play area is expanding thanks to the school's acquisition of an adjacent lot. Parents are kept updated through a weekly email newsletter and daily through the ProCare app. Teachers update the app for naps, diaper changes and meals as well as posting pictures of activities once or twice a day. Parents can chat directly with teachers through the app as well. The school provides healthy, age appropriate meals included in the price of tuition.

My child has attended since Jan 2024. He started in Infant 1 and has progressed through to Infant 3. It is with great sadness that we will be leaving this daycare after a great 12 months, due to a move back to the UK. We can only hope to find another facility that will take care of him as well as the teachers do here. All teachers through Infant 1-3 have been fantastic. His current teachers are Ms. Yaneli, Ms. Evelyn and Ms. Annie. Communication is great, I never have to worry about the standard of care. He is kept so busy with many activities. He will miss the school and all of his teachers very much!!!

My older child has been attending Mariner for a year now and is thriving. Ms Delia and Ms Priscilla are amazing and my daughter wants to go to school seven days a week. They treat her like family and we couldn’t be happier! Such a cozy and friendly environment! We started my younger daughter around 9 months and Ms Cody / Ms Annie took her in like their own and she has been so happy and I have seen enormous growth in her social and cognitive skills! I am very satisfied with our experience at this school and would choose it again and definitely recommend it to all our friends!

Mariner Montessori-The Heights is truly a gem! My child has been at Mariner for over a year and has grown IMMENSELY in her development since starting school. The school is diverse, a true Montessori method and philosophy combined with S.T.E.A.M. learning concept. The classrooms are beautiful and clean. All of the staff is incredibly caring and has created a very special environment. The school is extremely open and transparent and very communicative with parents. The teachers are absolutely fantastic! Ms. Delia and Ms. Priscilla continually go above and beyond to build relationships with their students and their families. They engage with the children by creating fun interactive discussions and activities. They are nurturing and truly love the children like family. They post pictures daily and it’s so wonderful to see what they are working on. My daughter LOOKS FORWARD to going to school and sometimes doesn’t want to leave when I come to get her. She even asks to go on the weekends! She absolutely loves Ms. Delia and Ms. Priscilla and we are so grateful for her to be in such a fantastic learning and growth-oriented environment! I highly recommend Mariner Montessori-The Heights to any parent!

Our daughter as been at Mariner Montessori since she was 6 months old. She is now 18 months and loves going to school every day! We have always loved our teachers - they are kind, compassionate, and maintain excellent communication. We feel very lucky that we found Mariner Montessori!

We joined Mariner Heights shortly after they opened and our son was 3 months old. He is now 16 months. Having our child attend a true Montessori was very important to us. The teachers that we have had, have been absolutely wonderful. Ms Cody, Ms Eudora, Ms Jenny, and Ms Annie had our son from 3 months until around a year. You can tell Ms Cody (lead) puts a lot of time and thought into her teaching plans and the babies truly develop. All the teachers in infant 2 & 3 truly care about the children and their development. Our son has recently moved to Infant 3 with Ms Yaneli (lead) and we have been equally impressed. Ms Yaneli and the teachers in Infant 3 (Ms Nahomi, Ms Evelyn, Ms Ana) have been wonderful for our very busy son and he continues to learn new things every week. The added bonus is our son is learning Spanish. We moved to the Energy Corridor in April but have continued to drive the 30 minutes everyday to Marnier Heights because the teachers have been so wonderful and we know our son is well cared for. We also appreciate the updated pictures we get throughout the day. We toured multiple other Montessori schools and this was the best fit for us.
