Marimont Montessori Preschool

The best school you could send your kid to. We went to MMS for 3 years, and would have happily stayed there longer if they offered beyond kindergarten. If you have multiple kids, you already are planning to have them come here next. They take great care of their property, offer fantastic programs for the kids during the week. Are a reasonable price. And the way they help and teach the kids really show. Couldn’t ask for a better environment and community!

Our daughter has been going to Marimont for about 10 months now, and it's hands-down the best school she's been at so far. We went through 5 other schools before finding Marimont and it's absolutely perfect for her. The teachers are all amazing with the kids, and the grounds are constantly being maintained and kept safe and engaging for the kids. It's truly been a unique and amazing experience so far, and there's never been a single moment of regret or concern that we had with previous schools. When we first toured, we were amazed with how well-behaved all the kids were during class time. The teachers take a lot of time to speak with their students about the lessons and other important things like emotional regulation, spending plenty of one on one time with them daily.

My son has gone here for a year now. Definitely would recommend to anyone. They are true Montessori trained and thought process and through this they are so nice. Miss Rachel the owner is amazing with children!!

Marimont absolutely deserves 5 stars because every single teacher there treats ALL the children with respect, sincerety, and attention. My daughter attended the school for the last 2 years and our only regret is that we didn't find the school when she was younger. I highly recommend Marimont!

Marimont Montessori is the best school ever. The teachers, the environment, the curriculum is bar none. We looked at all the preschools and Montessori's around and there is no comparison. Our daughter has been there 2 years and I wouldn't have traded her time there for anything!

Sending our daughter to Marimont was one of the best parenting choices that we have made. My daughter has since moved on to public school, but she still brings up how much she misses her Marimont family. For the directors, Rachel and James, running this school is a labor of love. Rachel has such a warm and calm nature that the kids are drawn to her. James works tirelessly at maintaining the facilities. We were lucky enough to be assigned Ms. Taqueria as a teacher. It is obvious that Ms. Taqueria loves her students by the way she interacts with them when no one is watching. She is so attentive and patient. She smiles and laughs while watching them play. Everyone loves Ms. Taqueria.... the kids and the parents alike. A few tidbits about the curriculum... Marimont kids are incredibly self reliant - they are encouraged to make their own snacks, clean their messes, etc. Marimont also holds great poetry recitals for the kids. They are taught poems and present them to their classmates and families. Marimont has a lot of outdoor play time. The playground has a lot of shade. There is also a garden, chickens and sheep. If you want a bright and shiny school with fancy toys and technology, this is not the place for you. If you want to find a school that will be a home away from home for your kiddo, please consider becoming a member of the Marimont family.

Both of my kids from 2-5 went to Marimont. Great experience.

We adore MMS. Ms. Abigail is a gem--our daughter absolutely loves her. Their teaching methods revolve around respect and learning to be good friends to one another (as well as to the Earth--they're big into recycling and caring for the world around us). The classes are diverse, and the older kids find a great sense of pride in being able to teach the younger kiddos the ropes. Their play area is fantastic--it's huge and lies below huge oak shade trees. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.
