Lycee Montessori School - Cypress

Both of our children go here and have since they were infants. The staff is amazing and we love seeing our children progress each week with the curriculum. The owner is always there and has a huge passion for the children's learning and development. We love it here

We have been here for almost 9 months and we are loving it. The level of details from the entire staff is amazing. Anytime we've had concerns we have had immediate clarity and solutions from the staff and couldn't be more appreciative. Our two kiddos love it there which means a lot to us.

Our son is currently enrolled at Lycee and has been for a full year now and we couldn’t be happier with our choice! We have noticed such a change in our son from following directions, his confidence in himself, to his speech with him coming home telling us what he learned about that day. The curriculum and activities are wonderful. The teachers and admins have always been such great communicators, whether I call and ask a question, ask a question through their app, or face to face it is always answered almost immediately or investigated then answered. Every morning as we are getting closer to school and when my son notices he always says “my friends, my friends!” and that alone tells me he is being treated well, learning, and having fun. I have recommended Lycee before and I will do it in the future.

We decided to send our daughter to Lycee following the suggestion of our coworker that did extensive research and have been very happy with our decision. In the beginning we were very concerned in sending our first born, but every staff member has been very patient and understanding in helping our child transition into the daycare routine. It has been 10 months since our child started going to Lycee and we are seeing a lot of improvements in her behavior and are very happy with her development milestones. Lycee has been very good in communicating daily/weekly/monthly lesson plans/activities and I have yet to find any issue that we could not resolve. Ms. Noor and the rest of admins have been very attentive to our needs. I absolutely recommend Lycee for your daycare needs in the Cypress area.

When I took a tour of Lycee Montessori School there few days ago couple of things that I noticed that I want to share: First the School director was excellent knowledgeable hand on with teachers, staff , children and parents. Each room that I saw– infant, toddler, transition, – has had a skilled lead teacher as well as responsive and attentive assistant teachers. The activities are very broad, making the experience fun and educational as well. I loved the fact that they had a little gardening boxes where children were taught to plant and enjoy the flowers grow. I highly support the mission and program of the school and recommend it to anyone. I express a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took time to give a such a wonderful tour.

Bait and switch. Chose this program expecting high quality…and It was for the first class my child was in consisting of about 2-3 year olds. 5 months prior to her 3rd birthday they insisted on moving her up a class of 3-5 year olds… Said she was ready and advanced. Told me everything would be very similar to the format of the prior class but they would be learning more because of the advanced ages in the group. Unfortunately, the quality drastically decreased. The class was almost twice the size larger and the care was half that of her prior class. There were no longer reports done on the HiMama app they asked us to use. She was pretty well potty trained and now started coming home smelling of urine and would use up all her extra clothes before the week was done. She came home with a two inch knot on her forehead. My child told me what happened and when I questioned them, they said they witnessed the injury but didn’t make a report because she seemed fine at the time. The next week she came home with a bite mark on her arm that went to her second layer of skin in two places. No report. Again I questioned them about it and they said they noticed it but figured it happened over the weekend. Of course my child told me what happened again. I pay more for good quality and after this “upgrade” the quality was no longer there. Switched her to another highly rated program down the street where I pay even more and surprise…None of those issues.
