Lone Peak Playhouse

We LOVE lone peak playhouse! Our kiddos love the staff and look forward to the days they get to hang out there! We always feel at peace leaving our little ones (we have 3 age 10 months thru 5 years) ❤️ Our skiing experience at Big Sky would not be the same without them! So nice to be able to have our kids close, take them skiing one on one, and/or get them lessons while popping in and out of the placare right at the base of the mountain. I just can’t say enough good about lone peak playhouse!

The play house is amazing, truly sets this mountain apart, allowing our toddlers to transition from ski school to the playhouse all with the help of the instructors. Jessie is amazing, too. The play house alone will keep us coming back year after year.

Wonderful care for our 3 year old while we hit the slopes all day. He didn't want to leave and was excited to go back on day 2. Staff was amazing, facility was big, clean and filled with fun toys. Would definitely utilize again.

Wonderful experience dropping off our 19 month old at Lone Peak Playhouse! Easy process for dropping off and picking up. Our toddler had so much fun he cried when we picked him up at the end of day 2! Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend the Lone Peak Playhouse for anyone needing childcare while enjoying a day on the mountain in Big Sky. My 2 year old daughter had a wonderful day at the Madison Base location on 3/17. The child/caregiver ratio is small and the activities kept her happy and entertained all day. Miss Claire was so sweet and kind and my daughter felt comfortable with her right away. I had a lot of hesitation about using childcare as my daughter has never been to traditional childcare or preschool, but I have to say it was a really wonderful experience. I felt like the environment was loving and safe and my daughter keeps asking when she can come back. We would absolutely use this childcare service again!

A very quick conversation with one of their employees made it clear you should never drop your kid off here. She described situations where they would have up to 12 kids and 6 infants (under two years) being watched by only three attendants. Their attendants were told not to comfort the children, and she recalled an instance where a 2 year old girl was put in a separate room by herself, while she cried, because she was asking to be picked up by the attendants. After 20 minutes alone, they brought her back out. There are plenty of great, young professionals who are great with children in this area. Make some Facebook posts, ask your servers in town if they know anyone, I guarantee you can find a local who is willing to watch your children, and it will be a much better experience, especially if you have very young, non-verbal children that cannot yet tell mom/dad their concerns.
