I cannot say enough nice things about Little Learner's Children's Academy in Yorkville. My son has been there for a year and half and I'm so grateful for the excellent care they provided. Things I LOVE about Little Learner's Childrens Academy: They communicate and check in with us on all things. They are wonderful people and wonderful daycare providers. My son is happy to be there! They take a ton of pictures and I appreciate the daily log of food, sleep, and diapers. I would highly recommend this daycare. You will not regret it!

I'd give zero stars if I could

LLCA was a home away from home for my daughter. She loved her teachers and we were so sad to leave. If we weren’t moving out of the area, we would have never left. The teachers and director were kind and considerate to me and my family’s needs which I appreciated more than I could express. We miss you LLCA!

If I could give 0 stars I would. The place is fraud and will have you put a deposit down and then give you the run around on when you kid can start. When you’re a working parent so you have to make a last minute decision and send you kid to another daycare they will not refund you your deposit and first week of care you have already paid. The owner also will not return your emails or phone calls. Poor ownership.

My daughter has been going here for almost two years. She loves it, the teachers were great with getting her comfortable and the staff are always so nice!

Personally, wouldn’t recommend it here. All they care about is money and my son cried everyday when I took him to daycare. I thought it was because he was still trying to get used to it but it definitely wasn’t that.

When our son first started last year there was a lot of turnover, which made it a little challenging for him. However, ever since he has had Ms. Stella it has been a great experience for him. He loves her as his teacher and is always looking for her car in the parking lot. He even chose to go to Pre-K one day instead of staying home with his dad because of Ms. Stella. Needless to say my husband was glad that he likes school, but was a little disappointed that it was chosen over him.

It was a disappointing experience. I pulled our son after nine months. Supervision and classroom management were lacking. My three-year-old was repeatedly threatened with getting a "write-up" for things. My son was also shuttled to multiple classrooms during the day due to staffing issues, I would assume. There are also no restrooms in the classroom, so working on potty training was very difficult. I also questioned if there was a learning curriculum because I did not see much happening. We are at Primrose in Winfield now, and it's been a completely different experience for us and our son. I would not recommend this school.
