my house is right next to this business and the woman who supervises the kids when they are outside playing speaks very negatively to them. everyday i hear things like “stop screaming because i don’t respond well to screaming,” “no one ever gets what they want in life by screaming,” “are you going to keep crying or are you going to calm yourself down?” and just overall very negative and rude sounding comments. these children are obviously very young and need some direction as to how they should appropriately express their emotions, but such verbal aggression and negative attitudes from a caregiver arguably aren’t the best course of action. i’m not parent, but from an outside perspective and as a neighbor, these interactions, specifically from the caregiver of this business, do not sound very healthy or respectful.
