Since enrolling my children at Kingston Montessori in January 2023, I have been consistently impressed by how this school surpasses all expectations. The low teacher-to-student ratios at Kingston are a significant advantage compared to other local daycares, all while maintaining a comparable price point. Unlike their previous daycare, which felt like organized chaos, Kingston offers a structured environment with a consistent routine that has allowed my children to truly flourish. My kids have not only made tremendous academic progress but have also developed essential life skills such as buttoning their shirts, zipping their jackets, and managing their own snacks. The independence they’ve gained in these everyday tasks is remarkable. Cathy, the school’s owner, is exceptionally thoughtful, kind, and responsive. She addresses any concerns promptly and works with you to find effective solutions. I feel incredibly fortunate that my children are at Kingston Montessori—it has been a perfect fit for our family and truly an answer to our prayers. I am profoundly grateful for the care and guidance they’ve provided to my children, and I highly recommend Kingston Montessori as the premier choice for early childhood education.

Great School! My 30 month old daughter joined recently, and the transition has been so smooth. One week in, she was sad to leave school and wanted to go back and continue working. Love the authentic Montessori methods being implemented by Ms.Cathy and her great team. Cannot thank them enough. I know Montessori is not for everyone, but if it’s your choice as a parent, this is one of the best schools, I was amazed with all the learning materials provided.

The communication and expectations here are grossly underperforming. It took weeks for the director to email me back when initially inquiring about their toddler program. This delay in communication continued once we were enrolled. When issues arose, the director was inflexible and unwilling to compromise in anyway. My child became quiet and reserved. There are no cameras to see what goes on in the classrooms so I don’t know exactly what went down. After 2 months, we pulled my child and enrolled him into a different Montessori toddler program and he absolutely blossomed. The price of this place is enticing but I wouldn’t take my son back here if they paid me.

This little school is amazing! My daughter has attended Kingston for the past two years, and it has been such a blessing. She has blossomed scholastically and socially. The nurturing environment curated by its administrator, Ms. Cathy, allows for a personal and caring relationship with each student. I have never felt like my daughter was getting overlooked or lost in the shuffle. The teachers are extremely kind and it's clear they genuinely care about the children. In my experience, communication between myself and the school has always been stellar. Every time I've reached out, I have received a timely, thoughtful, and detailed response. Moreover, on the occasion where I've had a concern, it was promptly addressed and a plan of action was put into place. I cannot give this school or its teachers higher praise. Thank you Kingston!!!

TLDR Kingston failed to communicate effectively and informed us at the last minute that our child could not attend despite communicating that she could. This has cost us a lot of money and time. As well as an undue amount of stress. Would definitely not recommend Kingston. Their communication is very poor. We went on a tour and the director was unavailable so we met with a teacher. The place looked great and they had a spot for our just barely three year old. We asked about potty training and mentioned our daughter is working on it. We were told they like them to be potty trained but if she’s not they would put her in the toddler class where they all practice together until she is ready. It sounded like a good plan so we filled out all the paperwork, bought supplies and uniforms. A month later (four days before she was supposed to start), we were called in to sign some additional forms. We were then informed that, since she was not potty trained to their standards, she could not attend either class. We were originally told that her level of potty training would not affect her ability to attend, but now we were being told that it was. So now we had one business day to find new childcare in order for my wife to start her new job. At this point, we had also turned down another placement that we were on a waitlist for. Therefore, we would not recommend Kingston unless you enjoy spending hundreds on supplies and being left without childcare.

We are so grateful we found this amazing school for our daughter. she loves going, she asks about going to school everyday. Cathy is the kindest person and so are the teachers. We love that our daughter feels happy and safe while she's not in our care.

Both of my kids started here at around 18 months old, and my (now 9 year old) left the preschool/kinder program reading WAY above grade level. His grasp of math and reading concepts has made the world of difference in his education when he moved to public school. Also, my daughter has always been shy and unsure of herself outside of home, but the very sweet and patient teachers at Kingston have helped her develop into the most confident and loving preschooler. I highly recommend Kingston!

Beyond AMAZED with this school!! Our child receives the best care, knowledge and support I have ever seen! The manors, structure and curriculum are far above any public or private school has to offer! This school needs to continue their growth so our children can keep to learning every day life and skills and not become lazy like many in this society. A+ as well to them still teaching cursive!

I can really tell a difference in my daughter since starting here 2 yrs ago. She has learned a lot and the teachers are all great. Any time I’ve had questions, the staff and Ms. Cathy are always willing to explain and answer.
