Johnson's Montessori School

Fantastic School! Instructors work well with the students and my children absolutely love attending Johnson's Montessori!

I searched for a safe, teaching environment where my daughter could grow and obtain a strong educational foundation. I was referred to Johnson's Montessori when she was 2 years old and I LOVE it! She is now 5 and reading on a 1st grade level. She was introduced to double digit math- in which she is excelling. The instructors are certified and they teach on the children's level. I am not only writing this review just because the instructors or the owner are friendly, but also because I have seen the results of investing early in my child's education at Johnson's Montessori. I also "do my part" as a parent- spending time with my daughter and going over her work. This also contributes to my daughter's advancement. I am very pleased and would refer anyone to Johnson's Montessori School.

Great school

When considering a daycare, I was told Johnson Montessori was the best place for my daughter. I took the tour in late January and saw first hand the development of kids who attended the school at each level. I was amazed how disciplined, smart and intelligent these kids were. My daughter has been at the school for nearly six months. She turned two nearly three weeks ago and already know 's her ABC's, communicates well, sings many songs, can count to 20 and more. Needless to say, I am very pleased with her development and look forward to future developments. Though I do work with my child at home, I must give credit where credit is due. The staff at JMS are just as amazing as the kids. Service with a smile - I am consistently informed of my child's progress. The curriculum is great and I really appreciate the smaller classes that allow teachers to become more personable. Without going into detail, my daughter's teacher Mrs. Laverne has been a blessing in our life. We really appreciate her and her staff. It's such a great feeling to go to work and not have any worries about your child's well being. Furthermore, I am happy and pleased the Lord guided me to this school. FIVE stars for JMS!

As a first time parent, I was hesitant to trust anyone with my child. The decision to send my daughter to Johnson’s is the best decision I could have made. She is constantly surprising me; at 21 months she signs and says her colors, knows her shapes, and can identify more zoo animals than I can. The administration at Johnson has been very responsive to my questions and concerns. They are very responsive to feedback and suggestions. When my child has been sick, they have called and check on her and me. I’ve would recommend Johnson’s to anyone.

Caring knowledgeable teachers with a passion for what they do has made my son’s learning experience at Johnson’s Montessori a very solid one. He has been at JMS since he was two-years old (six now) and with each year, I have watched him blossom academically and socially. With this firm foundation from JMS, I feel he is being well prepared to excel in any arena, be a strong leader and make a positive impact with all endeavors he pursues.
