During my child’s stay at this school, I could not see one tangible thing that my kid learned, but what I could clearly see it’s all about the money! We missed a week or two, they have done nothing to accommodate for that despite the fact that they easily could, but they were extremely diligent in pursuing the full payment.

We've had a wonderful experience at IMS. Our son has been enrolled in the pre-primary class since September and we have seen incredible growth in his verbal, gross motor and social skills. IMS creates an incredibly warm and nurturing environment and we have felt so welcome and at ease joining the community!

Bad experience with preschool lead teachers. I did not see a nurturing and patient person. This is the school next to chipotle. We took our child out. Please see Facebook for more details.

I couldn't recommend them more! The teachers Ms Yuko, Suma, and Marisol are incredible people that will help your children develop quickly into little individuals. We were so pleased to have found this daycare!!! They also have chickens and help develop the important life skills that we have noticed almost immediately with starting.

I have never written a public review, nonetheless my first has to be a negative one, but I decided that it is important enough to go through with it. With the encouragement of fellow parents- I thought it was important to shed some transparency, since we are entrusting our children’s care to organizations such as this. We started with international Montessori school in Royersford in the toddler (pre-primary) room and had nothing but amazing, raving experiences with the teacher and the teachers assistants, who were nothing but loving and nurturing for our son who has some sensory sensitivities and works with OT. There was always updates and good communication between the teacher and our specialist to insure amazing care for our child. Fast forward to this past fall- we transitioned to the primary room. It was a rough transition where we had no communication with the teacher although we requested for some updates on our child’s day and were seen to be “asking for too much.” We had no idea what our child was doing in the class. But the teachers aides were lovely - so we didn’t want to leave and disrupt what was already familiar to our child. Then our child had ONE biting incident- where he has now been labeled “a danger to others” (they brought this up two months later as a reason to kick us out) and that has infuriated my husband and I as parents because biting is age appropriate although not a positive coping behavior. My child has been stressed in the class where he has been seen to be held to high expectations because of the large age gap cohorts and he wasn’t being guided to help cope positively with his stress. To receive such a label for a toddler is heart-wrenching as a parent and unjust as the school offered nothing to help him when he was exhibiting stress. Our concerns where we requested that the school collaborate with us to “meet our son where he is at” was received as he should have 1:1 care (which we did not request) and they effectively kicked us out. My son did not have issues in the toddler room with no indication of needing 1:1 care nor does any of his OT specialists think so. I might add that I am a pediatric nurse by trade and a psychiatric provider so I am very well versed in childhood development and trained in the area for over 10 years and their claims are super unfounded. As parents we were dismissed for our concerns because essentially we were told” we do things the way we do and it’s the Montessori way and we have an accreditation”. We were basically told during a meeting that our feelings didn’t matter. any extra smidgen of effort to help our son with adjustment to the new class and poor fit with the primary teacher was labeled as a request for 1:1 care. I’ll just leave it here despite so many unpleasant communication with this school and inconsistent reports that did not match up. As a professional - this is me so beyond disappointing that we were treated so paternalistically (our concerns unheard and they do what they think is best without individualizing care even in the slightest way for our child- he either fits in or he is kicked out basically) and this has never happened in daycare settings since my son has been 3 months old. Their communication is terrible, inconsistent, paternalistic, and I would not hope for anyone to have this experience.

My son has been enrolled to the pre-primary class since January of this year and we absolutely are satisfied with the curriculum. We love how the teachers are so involved and meticulously focussing on the overall development of the kids. The Montessori philosophy has helped our son in being independent and also learning things on his own pace. The teachers and all the staff are friendly and are available to help if needed. We recommend the school without any qualms!

Our son has had an amazing experience here. We came from another daycare where he cried every day coming in and we never fell like he was adapting. International Montossori School, our son has grown and thrived every day. He comes in with a smile and leaves happy. I cannot say enough And the staff.

My two children attend IMS. Aside from providing excellent academic preparation for entering first grade, the Montessori curriculum cultivates independent thinking, problem solving, and intellectual curiosity, all of which provide a critical foundation for life long learning. At IMS, children also learn how to be kind and respectful friends and classmates. The classrooms are bright and engaging with teaching materials that allow children to learn in a variety of mediums. My children come home everyday excited to tell me about what they have learned which never ihappened at previous school. The teachers truly know my children and are always available to hear my questions and provide insights. I cannot say enough about this wonderful school and am so grateful we found it.

Absolutely amazing place. At IMS Royersford and couldn't be happier -- they make learning a deep and interactive activity, and my child always comes home insanely excited. They customize her curriculum based on her interests and follow true Montessori philosophy. She's learned so much and displays a true love of learning. Could not be happier or recommend more. This is one of the few google reviews I've ever made, if that tells you something!
