Heartland Montessori School

Heartland is a gem! Everyone there is so dedicated to the well-being of children - it is beautiful to witness. I love the Montessori philosophy, which shows great respect to children and gently guides them to be capable and confident humans. The classrooms are beautiful, and they have a huge outdoor space for the kids to explore. I also really appreciate that they are a nonprofit and that they pay their employees significantly better than most daycares.

We love Heartland! Both our boys attend and they have grown in their passions and personalities immensely. The guides care deeply about all the kids and it’s amazing what a close knit community we've developed. Highly recommend if you are looking for quality care at a reasonable price!

My daughter attended Heartland Montessori from age two to age six, and is now academically ahead of her class at a highly rated private school. If you want your child to learn to love to learn and get a fantastic headstart at school, Heartland is the place to be.

My children have been enrolled at Heartland for the last three years. I can't imagine a better place for them to have learned and grown both academically and socially. Through their Montessori education they have developed independence, confidence and academic curiosity. The school is small enough that there are numerous opportunities to get involved in the school community and see how Montessori education truly helps develop the whole child. Heartland has served the community for 20 years and though it has gone through changes and transitions over the years, it is an amazing place for children and their families. There is simply no other place like it, especially for 3-6 year olds. The Children's House Guide is terrific at motivating and inspiring, and the classroom assistant is bright, intuitive, and loves every child like family. If you have a preschool-aged child, I highly recommend contacting Heartland and scheduling a visit.

This is a wonderful, small, AMI Accredited private school that currently offers an excellent Children's House. Compared to other private schools and AMI Montessori Schools in the area it is very affordable. I would highly recommend this school to parents seeking a warm and engaging environment for their little one.
