Guidepost Montessori at Timber Ridge has been a wonderful experience for our son and our family. We knew this style of learning would be an excellent fit for our son. We love that Guidepost is one of the few accredited Montessori programs in the city. Here, we feel like family and the educators are transparent about updates with your kiddo and what when on that day. They are also very accommodating for all dietary restrictions and make everyone feel included. Our son's guide (teacher), Ms. Pam and assistant guide, Ms. Rekha are phenomenal. Our son has thrived while being in her class. He is happy in the morning when we arrive at school and when we pick him up. He has gained independence and confidence in basic academic curriculum to life skills like gardening and meal prep for his classmates. We often have "Watch Me" days where parents are invited to spend time in the class observing what the kids are learning and what their schedule includes. You can see how the style of learning is better and kids are encouraged to problem solve a task before asking for assistance. He is learning subjects that most kids won't learn until 1st or 2nd grade. Knowing he will enter elementary school with this knowledge, makes us feel more confident he will be set up for success. The kids are also taught how to handle conflict through emotional intelligent practices to resolve these issues amongst their peers. We enjoy seeing the positive interactions the staff have towards each kiddo the moment you arrive. We also love that Guidepost offers extra curriculars from outside vendors that visit the school. Currently they offer gymnastics, dance, STEAM, a secondary language, and soccer/t-ball in the afternoon for kids that are interested for a separate fee. It's been a great way for our son to try these sports without committing to an afternoon and weekend program if he isn't that interested. Finally, this school is safe. In addition to their current safety measures in place, they participate in drills with the kids and during staff development days. This is a must for our family given our careers. We can't stop raving about Guidepost Montessori at Timber Ridge! They have been an amazing choice for our family and we are happy we were recommended to join their family.

All my 3 kids went through there since we moved down here 3 years ago. 2 are still there. Great environment and teachers. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our time at Guidepost Timber Ridge, and so did our child! The teachers, especially Ms. Yukti, are incredibly caring and really go the extra mile to make sure the kids feel supported and happy. Our child not only grew academically but also had so much fun along the way. He always looked forward to going to school and learning new things. Guidepost strikes a perfect balance between education and engaging activities that keep the kids excited about learning. We also appreciated how well Ms. Yukti and the other teachers kept us informed about our child's progress. Highly recommend!

Guidepost Montessori at Timber Ridge is the best school in the area! It offers a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters a love of learning in children. The school's commitment to the Montessori philosophy is evident in every aspect of its operations, from the thoughtfully prepared classrooms to the individualized attention each child receives. Pros: 1. Experienced and Caring Staff: The educators at Timber Ridge are highly trained in Montessori methods and deeply committed to the well-being and development of their students. 2. Beautiful and Well-Equipped Learning Community: classrooms are well-organized and filled with high-quality Montessori materials. 3. Diverse and Inclusive Community:The sense of community at Timber Ridge is palpable. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to be involved in their child’s education, and there are numerous events and activities that bring families together and ensures that all children feel that they belong. 4. Holistic Approach: The curriculum is designed to develop the whole child—intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. This well-rounded approach ensures that children are not only academically prepared but also equipped with important life skills. Cons: 1. Cost: As with many private education options, tuition can be a significant investment. However, financial aid is an option for parents. The benefits definitely out way the cost which makes it worth it! Timber Ridge has been an excellent choice for my two children and I highly recommend it.

Guidepost Timber Ridge has been the best preschool for our sons! From the moment we step into the school, we are greeted with welcoming smiles. The teachers are always ready to help and go the extra mile, even assisting with opening the door. In the Children's House, Ms. Gabby and Ms. Norma are truly amazing. You can tell they love what they do, as they always greet my son with kindness and a smile. My son has learned so much, from practical lessons to math. I am incredibly thankful for them and the consistency they have provided over the past year. Previously, in other schools, my son had multiple teachers throughout the year, making it difficult to establish a routine. This is the longest he has had a constant teacher. They also send pictures throughout the week to see what your kiddo has been learning each week. The school also offers various activities for each holiday, such as a Thanksgiving meal, a parent-teacher activity to see your child's progress, and a Valentine’s Day event and summer water activities! For my younger ones in the Nido environment, the experience has been equally positive. It’s already hard to leave your kids, but knowing they are in a caring environment helps a ton. I get daily feedback and pictures as well, which helps me out a ton! I also appreciate the closing time at 6 pm, which considers working parents. Lastly, I must speak highly of Ms. Feryal, the director at Timber Ridge. She sets the tone for an inclusive environment, keeps communication open, and knows each child and parent by name. When we needed to discuss one of my kid’s incidents (he tripped on his legs while hopping around the classroom), she went the extra mile to set up a one-on-one conversation and was open to hearing my requests and working together to avoid this happening again. Overall, Guidepost Timber Ridge excels in communication and learning. They also offer additional classes and great catering services for the kids' lunches. I highly recommend them – 5/5 stars!

We love Guidepost at Timber Ridge! Both of kids go there right now. The school exceeds our expectations and we know now what more to ask for in a Montessori school. For our elder one, we decided to keep him here for his kindergarden too. Ms Feryal, Ms Pamela, Ms Jenny and all the rest of the staff is humble, considerate, personable and outstanding at their jobs. I highly recommend this school.

I had a delightful experience visiting my nephew's Montessori during the holidays. The campus was inviting, and I was genuinely impressed by the noticeable progress my nephew had made over the months. The hands-on approach and nurturing environment have undoubtedly contributed to his development. Highly recommended!
