We absolutely love GuidePost for our 4 year-old daughter. My mom and I initially toured the facility together. We were both SO impressed by the Guide (Montessori had “Guides” instead of “Teachers”), Miss Sandy, and her dedication to teaching and learning, especially about the Montessori method. I loved that she had her own kids, homeschooled them, and also had worked in a public school district before, so she had many different perspectives to offer. The center director, Camille, also worked in education at the YMCA and in public schools, so she also had various perspective and experience in education, not just in daycare. She is SO passionate about Guidepost as a brand, the Montessori method, the kids, the center, staff, and what she does. On our first day, since I had looked at a variety of centers, I was a nervous wreck. The center’s Assistant Director, Claudya, reassured me that I was welcome to drop in as often as I would like to observe and check on her. When I came back a second time that day, I spoke with Sandy, and she empathized and even gave me a much needed hug and reassurance that they would take very good care of my daughter, and also send lots of pictures. They definitely kept their word! My daughter has since begun to love it there. All of the teachers are kind, caring, and attentive. I have heard from several parents of younger children that their children are hitting milestones exceptionally early, being exposed to mixed-age groups and having independent skills encouraged by the guides and other staff. Additionally, the center is clean, well-organized, and bright. Every day I come to pick up my daughter, it smells like they have just cleaned and disinfected, and everything is neatly put away. My husband came through to pick up my daughter for the first time, and he is not one that is easily impressed-but he was impressed. It’s a smaller center, but growing, and it feels very intimate in a good way- like you get to know the other families quickly. I have heard only super positive things from the other families as well. Everyone loves the directors, guides, and staff, and feels like their kiddos are in the best hands. I absolutely could not recommend this center more!

Do you want your child to feel confident, respected as well as respectful, and have independent to do things on their own? If you said yes, this is the place for them! Full od kind teachers and excellent staff, Guidepost in Ellisville strives to guide your child to value responsibility and empathy! Also, Ellisville takes children on walks during decent weather, enjoys picnic lunches on warm days, has fun events for families once a month, enjoys water play in the summer, has soccer, baseball, and music programs, and so much more! Sending a child to guidepost is giving your child a chance to be their best selves!

I just have to rave about my daughter's preschool – it's been such a fantastic experience! The staff is amazing—they've been super open to my suggestion, making me feel like a real partner in my daughter’s early education. The whole vibe is just so warm and inviting, while following Montessori principle’s, making it a genuinely safe and enriching space. And let me tell you, the director, assistant head of school, and all the teachers I’ve met are gems! I can confidently say that I trust them wholeheartedly with my mama heart. Highly, highly recommend.

I’ve love having my son at Guidepost. I was very nervous leaving my 3 month old at daycare, but the classroom guides have been very sweet and attentive with him. And they provide plenty of updates throughout the day, which puts me at ease. They do a great job focusing on motor and social development, even at a young age. Can’t recommend enough!
