Great Little Minds Academy

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at this preschool! The staff is incredibly caring, patient, and attentive. They offer a wonderful range of activities that keep the kids engaged and learning, and their programs are very reasonably priced, especially for the quality of care provided and the area. The facility is clean, organized, and equipped with everything needed for a safe and fun environment.

Charged me waiting list fee, told there would be 4-5 opening spots till the date we wanted to go, did not even call us about any update (other schools even you are not in at least they will let you know). Director was slow to reply email, it usually took 1-2 days to receive a response or just did not reply. Do not return calls. This place may be cheaper than other places but the cost of communication with them is very high. Feeling the waiting list fee is a scam because they do not even tell you if you are having a spot or not. Very irresponsible.

As an educator, I highly recommend GLMA. The teachers are incredible and so kind. The owner is wonderful and so supportive of families.

This is such a great school. We love it here. I feel like I drop my kids off with family every morning. My oldest went here since she was 2 years old and my youngest since he was 6 months old. The kids love coming here and have a great time. The director communicates really well with parents. The fact that it’s a dual language school is a HUGE plus!

We are so happy our daughter is enrolled at Great Little Minds Academy. Our original daycare canceled on us a month before our daughter was supposed to start. Good friends recommended GLMA and we couldn’t have been luckier that they had a spot open. The teachers love our daughter like she is their own. She leaps out of our arms to her teachers every morning and leaves with smile (and artwork) every night. Karen, the director, is very communicative and makes the school so cheerful and happy. We couldn’t recommend GLMA more.

We moved back to Houston in the fall of 2021 and were so lucky that Great Little Minds Academy had an opening for our 3 year old. She joined the preschool class not knowing any Spanish, and a year and a half later she speaks and sings in Spanish. After the initial fear of being in a new school, my daughter now RUNS inside (sometimes forgetting to say bye) because she loves her school, friends, and teachers so much! As parents we appreciate the small class sizes and the fact that the overall enrollment is small as well. We know all of the teachers and they all know our daughter by name. Communication is amazing and Ms. Karen is always available via email or a phone call. We will be so sad when our daughter starts kinder this fall and we age out. I highly recommend GLMA, all of the staff, and the diverse and fun care and education that we have experienced.

We absolutely love GLMA. We now have 3 kids attending here, all since infants. The staff is loving, kind, and treat my kids incredibly well. GLMA has a family feel with staff staying there for the long term. It is so nice to really be able to trust a place to care for my children. We highly recommend GLMA!

We love this place! Both of our kids (now 4yrs old and 18mos old) have gone here since they were infants, and the attention, education, and love they get here is unmatched. We don't speak Spanish at home, but our 4yr old is fluent due to their immersion - huge plus! Also, the administration is very reasonable and does not close the school on a frequent, unplanned basis. Highly recommend
