Freehold Montessori School

I can't say enough good things about our entire experience at freehold Montessori. From beginning to end the teachers & staff were just amazing. They went above and beyond what I had expected. The facility it self was super clean & inviting. Mrs Yogi was extremely attentive to our every need & concern & created a safe, calm & loving environment for my preschooler to learn & grow. As an experienced mother of 4 children, I can say with confidence that this was by far my best experience with a preschool. I would recommend it to anyone seeking a kind, caring & trustworthy establishment to help start their little ones educational journey!

Our family absolutely loves Freehold Montessori! The director, Yogi, is absolutely amazing, and the teachers are all so loving. My oldest just completed his kindergarten year, and we are so pleased with his overall growth as a child. Not only is he extremely academically advanced, but he is also socially and emotionally mature thanks to Ms. Dipika, whom we absolutely adore! My younger son, who is now 3, has been with Ms. Millie and Ms. Rachel, who are both so loving and nurturing, since he was 18 months, and, again, we only have wonderful things to say. You’d really be missing out if you didn’t bring your child to FMS!!

We have been part of this school for 5 years and it's always bittersweet when the kids graduate. This school is more than just a school, but more like a second home to my kids. The staff is like family and really know each child. My kids have enjoyed going here over the years & I was so sad when they had to say farewell. I can't thank them enough for all they have done!

The best decision we made last year was to send our daughter Natalie to Freehold Montessori. We were nervous about sending Natalie to school in person due to Covid and decided to send her in March. The school's wonderful director Yogi set us at ease right away with her safety protocols. Freehold Montessori is a safe, warm, nurturing school with an engaging curriculum. Natalie learned and developed so much during her time there. She made lots of friends, became much more independent, learned to care for others and Mother Earth, sang fun songs (the continent song and Mother's Day song were our favorites!), and gained a love for learning. She was so proud to show us all of her hard work at the end of every week and we were so proud of all she accomplished. Natalie misses her amazing teachers and friends very much and can't wait to come visit. Thank you for a fantastic experience Freehold Montessori!

We have had such a wonderful experience with Freehold Montessori. The staff is wonderful and supportive, not just of the student but of the family as a whole and you become part of the Freehold Montessori family. Our son has grown so much in his time at Freehold Montessori and we have made many good friends as well.

My son started at Freehold Montessori in September. He was preciously attending another school in Freehold that was subpar, and we were eagerly looking for an enriching, loving, and supportive environment for our child. We were hesitant, despite the previous school’s shortcomings, because change is scary for adults....and even moreso for a toddler. We went for a tour and immediately fell in love. From the minute you meet the owner, Yogi, you can feel the love and dedication to education, enrichment, independence, and acceptance for all people and all things. The school is clean, neat, and exemplifies all the standards of a fabulous education coupled with a nurturing environment. The teachers are experienced and loving as well, and a perfect blend of gentle and encouraging, with a focus on fostering the little spongelike minds before them. In just a few days we went from anxious parents to relaxed and certain we had found our new home. Our son has flourished and is doing things well beyond what most 3 year olds are doing at this age. We have learned a lot as well, and continue to grow with our son. We love and appreciate every single thing about this school, and encourage all parents to check it out. You will not be sorry!!

We LOVE everything about Freehold Montessori. We have been been at Freehold Montessori for almost 5 years and we are so pleased with the teachers, staff and education. I could not imagine being anywhere else!!!

What a wonderful school with caring, nurturing, and knowledgeable staff! We can't thank all of our daughter's teachers enough. I love that our daughter gets to direct her learning experiences during the day in such a hands-on, inquiry-based way.

The love, dedication and care this school provides is beyond amazing! Great staff, family owned! Clean! With cámaras and reasonably priced!!! Yogee, the owner is always a phone call away! After care is fun! Summer camp is stress free and with an great space for kids to play outdoors. I drive 18min every morning to bring my daughter and it is worth every minute of it! Best schools in the area!

I have both my boys in Freehold Montessori, they absolutely Iove it there! They look forward to going to school and have learned so much. The teachers and owner are great. I highly recommend sending your children here. It teaches them the love of learning and independence.
