Day Star Montessori School

Day Star Montessori is a very good Montessori school. My daughter has been here since she was 2 years old and now she is almost 4. The teachers there are very supportive and friendly, they are always ready to help and know what the kids need. The overall environment is excellent. Big windows and lots of sunshine, wood made shelves and kid sized everything, the classrooms are big and clean. The moment you enter the school you feel like that's the environment I want my kid in. Montessori methods are a little bit different from the traditional methods. Kids here can be really independent. They decide what they want to learn and do in their work time and the teachers will always get everything ready before the work time starts. I have recommended this school to lots of my friends and will continue to do so.

Daystar Montessori has been a second home for my daughter since she was 2.5 years old. It's hard to believe she's 5 and graduating already, but I'm so grateful for the incredible foundation they've given her. I have really enjoyed watching my daughter grow tremendously in confidence, skills, academics and foster new friendships and connections during her time at Daystar Montessori. First of all, I really want to give a shout out to the teachers and staff! They are genuinely caring, patient, and experts in the Montessori method. Most importantly, I could see how my daughter was always encouraged on the basis of patience and persistence, and never judged on results. This fostered my daughter's independence, curiosity, and love of learning. The curriculum is well-rounded, covering not just academics but also practical life skills, social-emotional development, and artistic expression. I used to be constantly impressed by the new songs my daughter used to come singing, new art and craft work. I was so surprised when my daughter showed me how they taught breathing to calm down :) They do a great job of keeping things fun and interesting, with activities like spring gardening, celebrating Fathers/Mothers day with songs and art, costume and pajama days for Thanksgiving & Christmas holidays, etc. The school has a warm, welcoming community of families. We've enjoyed the opportunity to visit the school and experience part of the school day during Sharing days, participate in engaging with students such as book reading during Diwali. I can't thank the teachers and staff enough for their dedication. We are so grateful for the caring teachers and staff. They will be deeply missed! Daystar will always hold a special place in our family and hearts.

Day Star Montessori is the best care we could get for our kids. The well-planned curriculum and amazing support of all teachers & staff is great and beyond expectations!

We sent our children to Day Star between 2018 and 2023. We like the Montessori style of learning, and Day Star has certified teachers in every classroom. You can tell that all the teachers love being around children and interacting with them. The school has a cheery, yet calm and organized energy to it. The office staff is very helpful and friendly as well. Most importantly, we had a sense of peace leaving our children there, knowing they would be in an environment where they were safe, loved and nurtured. We are very happy with our experience and would choose Day Star again.
