Our family has experienced all levels of Montessori education at CVMS, and is incredibly appreciative of the efforts and genuine care demonstrated by every staff member here. CVMS has been a place of learning growth and a place where development of loving contributing community members occurs naturally. Our children all began in pre-primary where a love of learning was fostered almost immediately. Currently, we have one in extended day, one in upper el, and one in middle school. My only complaint is that this wonderful learning experience ends after 8th grade.

We had two children attend the school who both had very positive experiences – I would highly recommend CVMS. Some factors that make the school special – a foreign language is offered very early on, excellent learning field trips, students share at their parent teacher conference meetings, parents are a very welcome part of the school, the environment is very caring and inclusive, students present early on and learn to give and receive feedback, excellent teaming and across age group experiences, great student teacher ratio, an outstanding teaching staff and the students become good caring citizens. All are encouraged and it’s an environment where all can thrive – CVMS kids really enjoy going to school.

Wonderful school! My girls have been with CVMS since they were 2 years old and we have been thrilled with all age groups. We have experienced Toddlers, Preprimary, Lower El & now Upper El (ages 2-9). The teachers are wonderful and have so much to offer.

Anyone that decides to send their child here should read every form they sign very carefully. Based on a curriculum change announced ONE WEEK before the start of school, we decided to send our son to a different school. We were told that we would not be refunded any of the tuition payments we had already made, even though the school year hadn't begun yet. It would be bad enough if we were a new family but we had sent our two sons there for 11 years and spent many hours volunteering at the school. For all the tuition money we paid over the years (approaching, if not exceeding, $100,000) and all of the support we provided, we were rewarded with a cold and rigid response to our request for a refund of a half year of advanced tuition payments. We were treated like a new family that had never done a thing for the school. Read the forms before you sign them and if you don't like the terms, don't sign them. Don't assume this can't happen to you and don't assume being a good supporter and good customer will enable you to be treated as such. As far as the education is concerned, the pre-primary and upper elementary programs were good but the the lower elementary and middle school programs are not very good. In this one person's opinion, those programs are lacking due to bad hiring decisions combined with the loss of key faculty members over the years. ASMS and Notre Dame provide better middle school education.

My daughter has attended the school since she was 3 years old. An amazing school an amazing family of parents and students and amazing staff. I highly recommend the school to anyone who is a parent!
