The walls of Central Kitsap Montessori are built with kindness and love and all the goodness I could have ever hoped to surround my child! I knew we had found exactly we had been looking for when we walked through the doors at Central Kitsap Montessori. Everything from the structure of the day, the challenge and purposefulness of the activities, the variety of resources at my little one’s fingertips, the opportunity for independence in a safe and supportive environment to the warm and welcoming staff and the thoughtfulness of every detail of the space (indoors and out)….all our boxes were checked. Without a doubt, the time our daughter spent at CKM has been an absolute blessing and has laid a foundation for her lifelong love of learning! When she brings home her work from the week, her face lights up showing us each activity and she often comes home bursting at the seams to teach us what she has learned that day, which we absolutely love! They created a space where my little one could freely explore, create and learn in a way that was true to her heart! I will forever be grateful for her time there and for all the wonderful people involved!

My daughter has grown in leaps and bounds since her enrollment at CK Montessori. She delights in going to school, seeing her friends, and she is proud of her accomplishments. The school provides her with just enough structure to build self-discipline, but enough freedom to assure fun and creativity. A truly great place!

My kids attended CK Montessori for about 4 months before we pulled them out. Our son, who has a difficult time adjusting to new environments, was having behavioral problems but the school waited 6 weeks to say anything at all to us. Then we received a shocking e-mail calling our son "abnormal" and in need of assessment. After some discussion we came up with a plan to help my son, but the school failed to keep their side of the bargain by again not providing timely updates about his progress or lack thereof. Ultimately we put him in a new program at KinderCare, where we receive daily updates and he is deemed a completely normal 5 year old.
