Canyon Lake Kids Academy

Falsely input logs. They are under investigation for several violations. We have heard from teachers who recently left that kids have been abused and neglected. There have been many emergency transfers to other daycares in the past couple months. Bad communication and under staffed. They can’t keep teachers. Please for your child, go else where. Do your research on this place you can go to the states website and see the violations and many failed inspections. And to the parents who still have kids here please be very careful. If your child says something that isn’t right please listen to them.

My youngest has attended CLKA since she 3 months old. She is now almost 2. Ciera in the infant room is so great with the babies! Naomi and Jasmine in the toddlers and 2’s classes are patient and caring. The app used by CLKA is updated throughout the day so you know what and how your child is doing. They respond to messages quickly. They send pics throughout the week. My child has learned basic sign language, she is working on colors, shapes, and numbers. The classes do art projects that often times go above and beyond basic coloring. The kids have a great play area in the back. Liz is a great director. My kiddos will be back during the summer months and holidays in the future!

The staff here care about their clients and their children and go out of their way to make sure that they are safe.

The best preschool in the Canyon lake area hands down! The teachers are so amazing Liz and Amber are such sweethearts. I definitely recommend!

4 star just because state rules are dumb (sarcastically speaking here). Otherwise, we love this place. Our girl started in March at 10 months old and is thriving at an accelerated rate! Ms. Jazzmine takes care of our girl and encourages her to play and flourish! All the teachers here are wonderful and so far we haven't had any issues! ❤

Heard too many horror stories from friends and family.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!!!! THEY WILL CALL CPS ON YOU IF YOU ARE LATE PICKING UP YOUR KID. I had my son here and he supposedly had a fever which was not a fever because the thermometer was broken but we were late picking him up and they filed a report with CPS that we were medically neglecting him. We are not the only family that has had CPS called on them from this very unprofessional daycare. And CPS knows this but they have to investigate all claims even if they know they are bogus claims. So please find another place because this one is not worth it! Also if Candace doesn't feel like taking care of your baby that day she will find a way to send him or her home.
