We enrolled our daughter at Busy Bees at 6 months old and it has been the best decision we’ve made for her development. She’s been there about a year now and we would encourage anyone looking at daycares to consider them! The teachers are passionate and caring and treat all the kids like their own. The curriculum is also top notch. They got my daughter on a consistent nap schedule, transitioned to solid foods, helped hit all major milestones (grabbing, pointing, crawling, standing, walking, etc), and gave us pointers for what we should be doing at home. They also do parent/teacher conferences to go over development in detail. My daughter genuinely has a good time at daycare and often needs encouraged to leave which we really appreciate. Definitely check them out if you haven’t!

Started out great. My child was thriving in this type of educational enviornment. The director was great. Then one day when I was late for dropoff.. I pulled up and saw a little 2 year old boy standing in the front lawn alone crying. I looked around for an adult for maybe 5 minutes, and then 2 little girls showed up from around the side of the building. I asked where everyone was, and they said in the back of the building. So we all went back there and I saw a teacher and asked if the little boy was part of her class. She said no, but that the girls were. I went down further to the next teacher who was staring at her phone as the kids ran around in this unfenced area. I said is this little boy in your class? Because I found him in the front. She hadn't even realized he was missing.. He could have very easily wandered into the street or been taken.. I told the director what had happened and removed my child from the school.

We joined Busy Bees in fall of 2020, mid-pandemic frenzy, and have been so pleased with the care the staff have taken to keep our children healthy and happy while at daycare! While the limitations caused by the pandemic have strained parent-school partnerships (everywhere), we appreciate the communication, warm greetings, and photos/art that are shared with us. Maricela and her staff are very warm and professional.

Busy Bees Montessori School provides a wonderful learning environment with knowledgeable and caring teachers who bring learning to life with creative lessons. The Montessori method fosters independence and confidence in every child from as young an age as infants. There is also a great full-day kindergarten program offered here.
