My daughter has attended Bluffview Montessori School from Pre-K to 8th grade and it is truly an Exceptional place. The teachers and staff are invested in every children’s education and their growth as learners. My daughter went here from preschool until 9th grade and is now having a lot of success in high school. We love this school!

We've had four kids go through Bluffview over the past ten years, and have been extremely pleased with our experience. The Montessori philosophy encourages kids to explore the prepared learning environment, which allows freedom and initiative within carefully set boundaries. Each child has an individualized learning plan. We have had kids who were ready to zoom ahead, and were free to do so; we have had other kids who have struggled in certain areas, and were supported with extra attention and interventions as necessary. Our kids get one-on-one and small group instruction every day, and peer learning and teamwork is also a daily experience. Kids learn creative problem-solving and develop teamwork and initiative -- all skills that are in high demand by employers these days. Plus, we've seen kids graduate from here go on to succeed in high school and beyond. The downside would be the same as at any other free public charter school -- without local taxing authority, funds are limited, which leads to certain challenges; fortunately, these are somewhat mitigated by a generous staff and strong parent involvement.
