Best teacher hands down

The school set up is awful. During your initial tour you are shown the different class room and how the children will be split up into different classroom. That is not the case. The entire school year all the children were bunched up in the common room with just one person( not even sure if she was a certified teacher). They do not have any long tenure teachers. The communication between what really is being doing versus what actually is being doing is off. Do not be fooled by the presentation its all a fake. Sounds good; a great sales pitch; but what they are selling you is not what you will get.Just be mindful. The staff was nice, but I think its time the school have a true overhaul. You cant be the teacher, dean, office clerk, bookkeeper, janitor and expect to have a great school. Time to rebuild and restructure the school in my opinion.

Good school Im told

I love the fact they do not just teach the children to memorize a bunch of information, they take the time to make sure that they understand what they are learning. They expose the children to a wide variety of subjects, even at a young age (i.e.: My 5 year old is learning all about Australia, in preparation for our International Day presentations). I also love the fact that they will not limit a child's learning based on their age. If they see that a child needs more challenging work, they are happy to accommodate that need.

The staff of blessed star are great. By far the best daycare/school we have found in Pensacola.
