Children who have received a Montessori education are well-prepared for a future academic and life success. At JWM gives a warm, supportive environment that helps children develop a love of learning. All teachers are caring and kind. The facilities at bkk campus are quite limited but they plan to expand in the next few years. We recommend that JWM is one of the best school in this area.

My two children have been at JWM for 11 years. They are always happy to go to school, the teachers are really hard working, and my children and I always feel free to talk with the teachers. The school feels very welcoming and homely. My children have a good community and learnt to learn from others and help each other. Nice school!

An excellent Montessori experience, our 2 kids have loved coming to JWM since the toddler class. We now have one in the adolescent program and one coming through Elementary years. They both really enjoy school, have made a diverse set of friends over a wide age range, and aside from the obvious core maths, language, science and world view skills, have learned a great deal about emotional intelligence, diligence, compassion and love. It is really great to see them deal healthily with problems, compartmentalise issues and deal with them in a structured way, always encouraged by the teachers and senior staff. Staff are always responsive and we feel we have a finger on the pulse of the school, and their approach to our children.

While some of the teachers are quite nice, there were also a couple of teachers who hardly had a smile on their faces when dealing with young pre-schoolers. We found this school veered too close to war-time montessori style teachings. The couple of teacher we encountered were a little too cold and judgemental, took a lot of joy out of the school. We all picked montessori for the discipline and structure, but we do not want children to be fearful of school, and not love their time in school. I believe there are better montessoris around, with better balance, more suited to the world today. Or perhaps JWM can retrain some of the old school teachers. Old school qualities are great, but even more important is finding a balance and encouraging children to love school. Consider this an anonymous review to avoid conflict and for identity protection, and I urge the owners to relook into your program and also the way some teachers communicate.

An architect and teacher couple enlightened to true Montessori schooling via a long person to person relationship with an incredible university professor, dean of Frank Lloyd Wright school of Architecture, and honorable man of of instructional truth, integrity, care and love of others.
