The Montessori School of Mallorca

Very caring teachers. The director is lovely, empathetic and makes all the efforts to make the children study in a beautiful way. She also gives support to parents and kids when something happens. I appreciate her help in a very stressful situation we had last year. She makes sure the children are safe, don’t get bullied or threaten by others. gives emotional support also even when events don’t happen at school.

A very traumatic experience for our family. My son suffered a lot. And we are still trying to recover. After an unpleasant case, the director stated before me and my son she doesn't want to know the details. But felt herself authorized to spread rumors about the case she refused to know, with this invaded privacy of minor, persuaded families, who are not even the students of this school, about how bad is my child. The director did a lot to destroy the reputaion of my child and kill his friend contacts. My son was expelled right before the last grade of school. I regret I didn't react legally correct at the right moment. Horrible experience.

Great Casa teachers and lovely environment

Estoy muy contenta con la escuela, mis 2 hij@s están en el colegio desde hace 3 años. El equipo de CASA (3-5 años) es maravilloso, enseñan y acompañan con un amor increíble a los pequeños, incluso en momentos en los que mi hijo necesitó ayuda detectaron lo que pasaba y nos acompañaron muchísimo en un proceso un poco complicado. Mil millones de gracias Maddy y Catherine por toda vuestra paciencia y ayuda. Ahora en primaria el profesorado es INCREIBLE, no podemos estar más contentos con su forma de enseñar. La dirección de la escuela siempre está actualizando el cole para mejorar y progresar cada día. Como madre solo tengo palabras de agradecimiento viendo como mis hijos aprenden tanto siendo felices.

We are deeply disappointed about the level of caretaking within Casa of our children at this school. Our daughter was showing signs of stress such as stomach pain, inability to sleep alone and daily fear of separation from us. We as parents are in emotional pain and guilt that we have not withdrawn our kid earlier and kept exposing her to the toxic environment of this school. Everything escalated in a large parent - teacher - dean meeting where a systematic harm / abuse among children was revealed. The communication about this situation was very intransparent and management tried to keep this serious issue low profile and "normal among kids". This institution dramatically failed in providing the basic necessity for our children: keeping them safe. After we left Montessori Mallorca our kid was in blossom: no more stomach pain, good normal sleep, no more fear of separation (actually being excited about going to school!) -- simply a happy and relaxed kid. Please be very vigilant about this school.

The Montessori School in Mallorca is simply exceptional for children of all ages. From the little ones who can attend "Casa," to the "Lower Primary" where my son is currently, followed by my other son attending "Upper Primary" and then on towards Secondary school. To be able to have my children be in a school not only together as a family unit, but to also benefit from both an amazing Montessori environment, coupled with the British education and not only that but to learn many different languages! They are enjoying a brilliant childhood and education at the same time! We are very thankful to be here and live our best life possible in an ever-changing world.

La elección del centro fue relativamente fácil para nosotros, fuimos de visita a varias escuelas y fue en esta , la escuela Montessori, donde tuvimos las mejores sensaciones con nuestra hija desde el primer momento, entró corriendo en la clase en los open day a los que acudimos y se puso de inmediato a jugar y investigar con todo lo que tenía disponible. Casa es preciosa y acogedora con mucha luz y espacio, el patio ha mejorado muchísimo y estamos encantados con el trato humano, cariño y dedicación a nuestra hija y la constante comunicación por parte de la escuela hacia los padres. Nos encanta la metodología Montessori y su aplicación en la escuela, la autonomía e independencia que se aprende, la educación en valores y la disciplina ante las malas conductas. En general se piensa, muy equivocadamente, que los niños pueden hacer lo que les da la gana, y no es así. Estamos encantados de formar parte de esta pequeña comunidad y de que nuestra hija disfrute cada día.

Cannot be more pleased with how our kid makes progress in MSOF. Real Montessori methodology with a loving and caring team in direct contact with nature. We feel fully supported by the school team in educating our son, and already very much willing to have our little one (2 years in October) joining next year !! More than open to speak and give feedback to any parents who might be interested in knowing more about the school.
