Montessori Kinder Barcelona

Our daughter has attended Montessori Kinder Barcelona for just under 1.5 years and has thrived within their care. She started at 1years old, and the school has nurtured her independence and growth throughout her journey there. All the staff we have had the pleasure to meet have had our daughter's best interests at heart, and she has been very happy within this setting! We are sad to leave this nursery and would have absolutely stayed longer if we were remaining in Barcelona. We would highly recommend it.

Our daughter has been at Kinder for one year from age 2 to 3 and we have been very happy with the nursery offering. The teachers are very kind, the communication has been good, the activities she has been involved with every day have been varied and interesting, and she has developed a tremendous amount in many positive ways. 5 stars from us.

I’m so grateful for the teachers and staff at Kinder Montessori. They have been caring for my little daughter since she was six months old, and now that she’s almost one, I can confidently say that investing in this kindergarten has been the best decision ever. From the beginning, the teachers have been thoughtful, kind, and supportive. They’ve shown empathy toward us as new, expat parents with many doubts, fears, and so much to learn. They’ve shared their advice with us throughout this journey and have shown that they take excellent care of our daughter in every situation she has encountered. Every morning, it’s a joy to bring our daughter to her teachers and little friends. Every afternoon, we love reading her daily report to see what she learned, how her mood was, and enjoy the daily photo gallery on the app. I know that she’s getting nutritious meals, learning something new every day, going on little adventures, and exploring the neighborhood. Everything has exceeded our expectations, and knowing she’s happy and safe at kindergarten allows us to fully focus on our work. Five stars and more to this wonderful team—especially to Miss Diana, who has been with our daughter since the very beginning ♥️

Our little girl entered Kinder at 11 months, she has now been going for just over 5 months and she loves it! She is very excited to go every day, she really enjoys the environment, the activities, the teachers and all her friends. Her face illuminates whenever she hears her Kinder songs playlist. She was just able to hold on her feet and make a couple of steps when she started Kindergarten and after a few weeks she was walking by herself. She has made so much progress in her mobility, speech, awareness and social skills. We are grateful to the educational team and Kinder Management for the level of care they give her and how passionate they are to provide the best platform to allow her to develop into an independent girl. She had a couple of situations with other kids, she fell and got sick a few times but nothing unusual from any other nursery. The most important is that the communication has been really good with the team. We shared feedback on how it could improve even more and they took action. We have a direct channel to exchange and they are very reactive. Plus we received daily updates with the Mobile App, with very detailed info and some nice pictures.

This summer we moved to Barcelona for 3 months for my work, and my kids attended this school. I was a bit preoccupied, since they needed to start school right away in a new place and spend much time there while we were working, but they did not speak much English and no Spanish. This school was great, they adapted fast. The little one had a couple of weeks a bit hard because she could not communicate well with the other kids, but after that she started to communicate and make friends! After a month they were both saying sentences in English, and understanding some Spanish worlds, and they were very comfortable. The activities were also great because they stayed most of the time outdoor, they went to parks (twice a day), and once a week they also walked to a garden, to the beach, and to do gymnastic. They enjoyed also the painting and crafting activities indoor. The food was very healthy, and even if they complained a little at the beginning, we noticed that they learn to eat more vegetables and fruits, and started to enjoy everything. The teachers were nice and sweet, and they sent us pictures and feedback. My kids liked it so much that they asked to attend even the very last week we were in Barcelona (even tough I did have not planned it for them to give them a rest before going back to school in Italy). I felt my kids thrived this summer in this school and in this new environment! I highly recommended it!

Nuestro peque empezó en Kinder con un año y dos meses y ha terminado con casi tres años. Entró a mitad de curso, en febrero, pero todo fueron facilidades y se integró enseguida. Ha estado siempre en el grupo Castellano-Catalán de Amistat pero al compartir local y la última hora de clase con un grupo de inglés, empezó a familiarizarse con ese otro idioma muy pronto, lo cual nos ha encantado. Desde el principio nos gustó muchísimo el ambiente, el proyecto y el trato con el equipo de educadoras, siempre super amables y cariñosas con nuestro hijo. Además, la comunicación tanto con ellas como con administración o con la directora del centro ha sido siempre super cercana y ágil. Se agradece mucho también, además de las reuniones y tutorías individuales, recibir diariamente tanto fotos como información (por escrito y en persona) con todos los detalles de cada niño/a y de lo que han hecho en clase. Por destacar otro punto diferencial, nos gustaba especialmente que hicieran dos salidas diarias al parque o a pasear por el barrio, para conocerlo, jugar, aprender y despertar su curiosidad al aire libre. En fin, la tranquilidad de dejar a tu hijo en un entorno tan acogedor, con pocos niños y niñas y al que cada día va super feliz, es genial, sobre todo cuando son tan peques. ¡Lo recomendamos totalmente!

Our son attended summer camp 3 years in a row. From his 3 years to 5 years. He was absolutely happy there and loves it there. The teachers are 100 professional and very kind. I highly recommend.

Nous sommes très contents d'avoir trouvé cette crèche pour notre fils, l'équipe est pleine d'énergie et de bonne humeur, les activités sont toujours différentes et adaptées. Notre fils est heureux d'y aller le matin c'est très agréable de savoir qu'il va y passer un bon moment. I am very happy with the choice to entrust my little Emma to them. I moved last year from the UK and was looking for a nursery where my little one could speak English and Spanish. Montessori Kinder Barcelona was a great discovery. They have taken good care of Emma from the beginning, and she loves going there. The summer camp was also excellent.
