Granada International Montessori School

Estamos muy contentos con este colegio. Desde el primer día, hemos sentido un ambiente muy familiar y cercano. Nos encanta cómo aplican el método Montessori y el hecho de que sea bilingüe es un gran plus. Todo el equipo, desde los profesores hasta la dirección, está siempre pendiente de los niños y se nota el cariño con el que hacen su trabajo.

GIMS was a really beautiful environment for our children to land when we lived in Granada for 2 years. We were hoping for a very quality and personalized education that also provided a warm community where our children could feel safe and connected. We felt so lucky that GIMS really met all of our hopes. The teachers truly care about both the well being and the educational journey of the children. I highly recommend this school and their teachers.

“Equipo profesional incomparable trabajando junto a los padres por y para hacer de los niños y niñas sus mejores versiones.” Este era mi comentario hace un año y después de 6 años ya en esta Institución con mis dos hijos, con pandemia, cuarentena y situaciones límites como las de estos últimos meses; nos sentimos más que nunca agradecidos a todos los profesionales, dirección y familias del cole por su esfuerzo y labor. Ojalá podamos continuar con ellos en Secundaria!

Venimos de vivir en Alemania y tener a nuestros hijos en otro colegio Montessori de allí durante 7 años. El Montessori de Granada no deja nada a desear, expectativas más que cumplidas en relación a la calidad del aprendizaje y trato a los alumnos.

My two boys have been going to GIMS for the past two years and I'm very excited for my daughter to join them next year! Instead of giving a review of the school I will quote my son who has said many different times, "mama, thank you for bringing us to this school". It's such a blessing to hear that as a mother and I'm so grateful to the entire GIMS team for making school a safe haven for my kids <3

We have been in Granada for 4 months and couldn’t be happier with our decision to enroll our daughter (age 4) at GIMS. It is a bilingual school for ages 3-12 that 100% embodies the Montessori philosophy. It made the transition from the United States so much easier knowing that she loves going to school, and we especially appreciate that the teachers are incredibly responsive to our daughter. It’s obvious that they are paying close attention to her and that they truly care about her development. We also love the patio where the kids can play and create. Not to mention, the organic garden from which they source many of the ingredients for the children’s lunches is quite impressive. Speaking of food…. Our daughter started out this year as a picky eater, and we worried that she wouldn’t eat any of the very healthy lunches that GIMS serves. I don’t know how they did it, but now our daughter often loves the lunches at GIMS, and we’ve seen her palate expand at home, too. Finally, we have to praise the other parents at GIMS. Being new to Granada, we weren’t sure what sort of community we’d be able to find, but the other parents at GIMS have gone above and beyond to welcome us. From day one, they have been invaluable for everything from playdates and social outings to which hospital to visit when that inevitable winter cold wreaks havoc. We are confident in saying that our daughter will likely never attend a better school. And all the Spanish she is learning is an added bonus!

Los propietarios de GIMS son excelentes personas, los conozco personalmente y sé que su prioridad es siempre la calidad educativa. Merece la pena visitar la escuela.
