Highly recommend this school! Nestled on a large property in Beaulieu/ Glenferness, the school lends itself to indoor and outdoor learning. When in class, the kids are assisted in directing their own learning at their own pace and when outside deliberate effort to have them engage with nature and the animals really contributes to building holistic learners. I’m proud of my boy and what he has been able to achieve at the school! Also proud of the founder (still very involved after 20+ years) and her well selected staff complement.

The Glen Montessori School consistently provides a very good and safe environment for my children. I have one child there currently and have assisted 2 others (from less fortunate families) with pre-school education by sending them to this school a number of years ago. The owner, Teacher Brenda, and the rest of the teaching and support staff are excellent and truly stand out among similar schools. It's is clear that the staff genuinely care about the students. Teacher Brenda is dedicated and ensures that the school maintains high standards. Teacher Kim, along with the other teachers, is always approachable and attentive to the needs of each child. The school's approach to learning and development is impressive. The emphasis on individual growth and hands-on learning has made a significant difference in my childs learning. Safety is a top priority at The Glen Montessori School, and I have always felt confident leaving my children in their care. I have been a parent at the Glen Montessori school since 2016 and my boys are still there and now in the Junior primary, grade R and grade 3. We have been part of the Glen family for 7 years. The same teachers are still teaching there and they are just amazing. I have met my closest friends and mommy-ing together for many years. We are sad to leave because, we are relocating, but we will forever treasure the best memories and my boys will take all that they have learned, and fly for sure!! Thank you to Brenda and all the teachers and assistants at the Glen!!

My children have been at The Glen since 2018 and are currently doing Grade R and Grade 2 at the Junior Primary! This school is the epitome of community, every teacher is involved and knows every individual in the school. The parent body is united in putting the child's learning first and seeking opportunities for growth of each individual. The facilities are immaculate and the environment is open with loads of space to run and play! Children are given ample opportunity to grow and discover their true selves in a safe and caring environment. As a Mom, I have found my people because of this school!
