City Heights Early Childhood Montessori Centre

We visited City Heights Day Care while exploring daycare options for our daughter, and while we can’t comment on the teachers, our experience with the reception staff (who we believe was the manager) was disappointing. My wife, daughter, and I stopped by to gather some information about the center. Although we understood that a walk-around visit couldn’t be arranged on the same day, we were surprised that no information booklet or materials were provided. Instead, the manager directed us to look up the information online and even suggested that we consider other daycare options closer to our home in St. Clair. "Why don't you go around St Clair area ?" excitly what she have said. This interaction left us feeling unwelcome, almost as though we were being pushed out the door. We had hoped for a more helpful and inviting approach, especially from someone in a leadership role at the daycare.

City Heights is such a great place for your little one to start their learning journey. Our daughter has learnt so much there and the staff are so lovely and caring. We couldn’t have found a better nursery!

Our daughter has recently started at City Heights (in the green room) and I honestly cannot recommend City Heights and its staff highly enough. They are kind, friendly and professional and I know that when our daughter goes there each day, she is in safe hands. Little P comes home filled with tales and adventures of things they have done throughout the day and can't wait to 'go back to school' tomorrow.

My son loves attending City Heights. His teachers are friendly and approachable and it is great seeing him so comfortable with them and the other staff and children. His food allergies have been well managed and he is learning some great routines which promote independence. Regular updates on his private online profile and regular dialogue with his teachers mean we are able to be involved in his learning and see how his activities at Centre relate to the national early childhood curriculum. The new manager is bringing in some fresh ideas and improvements to the Centre. My son is very well settled which I find extremely reassuring.

As a staff member here I can thoroughly recommend City Heights for its care and education of our preschool children. My three children all attended when they were little and the standard of care then as it is now was second to none. We have very dedicated and experienced Montessori and ECE teachers and we all look forward to welcoming you and your family to our centre.
