Avalon Childcare Centre

I love the centre philosophy, I couldn't be more grateful to all the staff for how they have helped and nurtured my daughters progress the last 3.5 years. It is most important to me to know that she is always encouraged, included and understood and I feel that she is absolutely around the best people that care for her very much and that provide all those things and more. The staff all take extra time to get to know my daughter and understand her needs. They have absolutely helped to bring out her confidence and personality. I love that she is not put in the too hard basket by anyone at Avalon and is celebrated for learning at her own pace. 😊 I know if she had words she would agree she feels at home there. Could not recommend more highly Avalon Childcare to anyone wanting the best place to entrust the care of their little ones 😊

This daycare is like a diamond in the rough. When we were looking for daycare options we must have googled and visited a dozen different daycares with no luck. Then we just happened to drive pass this little gem and thought "let's visit this one". We're so glad we did. Best daycare of the lot. Our son is learning so much and has such an amazing time. Staff here are incredible and the children are too. 10/10, highly recommend.

We are really happy with this daycare. It's a smallish centre with really good ratios. The manager and teachers really care about the children and put them first, which really shows. We visited quite a few other daycares before settling on this one, and we felt like our child would have been lost in the crowd of some of the other bigger centres.

Three key words come to mind with this centre: loving. Strong. Safe. The centre worked with me to settle my baby in. Answered all of my questions, negated all of my concerns. Policies are all clear and regularly reviewed. Staff are absolutely lovely. My child was so very well cared for and was able to grow, develop and learn safely, just how she wanted to. Communication is on par. Their ability to be flexible with my child's needs was brilliant. Ratios are amazing and allow for enough support with groups of children. Play areas inside and outside are spacey and adequate for the children's learning needs. Sleep areas are well set. I can honestly say I didn't have a single concern once my child settled in. I would happily recommend this centre to anybody looking for a safe and loving place for their child to thrive.

Love this centre. I’m a single mum who works full time and Ursula is always accommodating with the times I need for my son to attend. The teachers are always very nice and my sons learning has definitely improved over the past year he has been with them 😁 definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new daycare in the Nawton area 😁 …
