Mijn kind is nu gelukkig.

Stressful environment for kids and parents alike. Bad management.

The international school is good only if you fit in their box, else it's hell. The teachers and management don't help the children adjust to the system, learn in their pace, with their own strengths and weaknesses, but rather try to fit everyone into their box, and if they don't fit, would blame the children. This creates a stressful environment for the children, and affects the children mentally. The teachers here are very busy and just teach in the group, expecting everyone to just follow. They expect children to already know and then just follow what teachers say. Parents words or feedback are not given any importance. The only answer you get from the teachers is "We have n number of years experience and we know the best". The same is repeated by the director of the school who always just talks about fitting into their box. They make an impression at the start, and label the child. Don't make any effort to help, or even assess later. Lastly, they also would make sure that it's hell to even move to next school that they give the worst feedback ever possible, to ensure no other school gives a seat and you're stuck there. There is a little difference in nature between boys and girls and their interests, and that's not respected. I think all the activities are always around arts, crafts, and lack any variety. Specially, parents of boys, BEWARE please don't lose yours and your children's confidence and peace of mind by joining in this school. There are a lot of victims(especially boys families) still stuck due to above reason of not getting other school, or children having friends in the school, or not able to shift houses. I heard this is more in the recent years, and a lot of people silently trying to move away, to other nearby schools. This all experience we faced is for child of most junior classes. If children of such young age face this, I'm afraid how would it be foe more senior classes. Please take care!

More than 5 stars!!! Great school, kids gets great help from the teachers and they have a lot of patience with the kids and the parents. Daily there's a communication and information about the school and the group like exams. They motivate the kids to learn individually and in a group. I am very happy that finally we made a good choice to move my kid to this school. If you're looking for a new school for your kid, come to Elckerlyc as it's the best in Leiderdorp! I recomend it.

Unmistakably, my wife and I made the correct choice to enroll our son to Elckerlyc International School in Leiderdorp. We knew that the school is quite far from our home however the main reason to opt this school is just because it is small school and we wanted to have one to one approach from teachers. My son has started in group 2 and had some initial difficulties. The way his teachers have helped our son develop his individuality, while at the same time emphasizing self-discipline and respect towards others, has truly been an encouraging experience. Teachers are always approachable and have always provided timely feedback. My son has learned social skills enormously, he is courteous and respectful and more assertive. All thanks to Elckerlyc We feel positive everyday as everyone from staff has a beautiful smile on their faces Specially Mr. Paul Mos (Director) standing at gate greeting everyone with same enthusiasm. With Mr. Paul Mos and Ms Lesley De Quartel’s leadership school will be always surrounded with positive people. My son loved his teachers and he has mentioned that following teachers have spent good time and helped him to nourish his base. He would always remember them and their teaching would definitely help him in his upcoming future. Group 2: Ms Inez Du Preez & Ms Sue Goddard Group 3: Ms Winnie Ingolo Group 4: Ms Sharon Habesch & Ms Mairi Gillespie Group 5: Ms Christina Louwman Group 6 : Ms Joy Blundell & Ms Jackie Finch Group 7: Ms Colleen Cropp, Ms Nira Satgurunanathan, & Ms Catie Heemskerk Thank you very much to Elckerlyc International School for such an outstanding and heartening experience Regards, Haresh Solanki & Payal Solanki
