Istituto Montessori Pozzuoli

We toured this school as a family for our 20 month old to start and didn't get the best feeling, but figured we were just off and it was so beautiful and has animals, etc so we thought it would be perfect. When I went back to sign him up, a teacher in the 3/4 room started screaming at a kid while I completed the forms and I was instantly shaking and felt fight or flight or something (I don't yell at my son and cannot imagine yelling at a little defenseless thing) and when I asked about it, the director didn't seem to notice then said it was because kids were fighting and they'd remind her not to yell 🙄 but there were other adults in there who didn't step in/seemed to find it normal. I said I needed to leave so they insisted I take another room tour and see the other rooms are peaceful but when we came back, the teacher was still being mean to the kids like bitter and angry with them rather than letting it role off as kids will fight, etc. and a minute later be perfectly happy and maybe she was having a rough day but based on everyone's acceptance of it and not stepping in to relieve her and protect the kids from a colleague's bad day, I fear it is common and I don't think an adult who can't emotionally regulate can create a productive and safe space for a child to learn such behavior. I left and never returned.

This school does not care about your children, only your money! Do not send your child here!!! My son broke his arm at this school and his cries for help were neglected all day. Even when I went to pick him up at the end of the day, he was crying to the faculty that his arm hurt, and they neglected him.

Mia figlia ha frequentato l'istituto per circa 2 anni. Devo dire che la scuola è molto bella e le maestre sono sempre state dolci e preparate. Tuttavia ad un certo punto le maestre sono iniziate "stranamente" ad essere sostituite ed i prezzi ad aumentare. Anche l'organizzazione ad un certo punto iniziava a sembrare più a scopo di lucro che a scopo educativo. Ringrazio per quello che hanno trasmesso a mia figlia, davvero impeccabili. Ma ad in certo punto ho dovuto cambiare scuola. E per esercitare il diritto di recesso ho dovuto utilizzare il mio avvocato anche se ero ancora nei giorni previsti dal contratto. Mi spiace per come sono stato trattato alla fine.

I miei bimbi hanno frequentato questa scuola per due anni. Il primo anno molto bello ed istruttivo per loro. Ma il secondo anno è stato caratterizzato da confusione comunicazione poco trasparente verso i genitori . Parecchi più bambini dell’anno precedente con meno Mestre. Diverse maestre si sono avvicendate durante l’anno senza un’opportuna preparazione dei bambini e informazione ai genitori, anche il metodo seguito in maniera meno fedele. A malincuore, perché credo nel metodo montessoroano e la struttura è molto carina, ho dovuto cambiare istituto.
