We’ve had a really positive experience with once upon a time Shankill. The staff are incredibly kind and patient. Lethicia, Sandra, Caro and Martha have made a huge effort to help us get settled and feel safe and happy. The centre is bright and welcoming, with a real focus on child led learning and play.

Lovely team looking after the children. Our daughter is always happy to go in, enjoys the healthy meals and really loves her minders at the creche.

We have had an amazing experience with the staff at this centre! They are truly incredible, and our child has developed so much since joining. It's unfortunate that some parents only leave a review when something negative happens, and then rally others to comment, which brings the setting down. Our experience has been nothing but positive, and we are genuinely happy with the service provided. We highly recommend this centre to other parents looking for quality childcare!

Certainly! Here's a positive review for the creche and its staff: I can not express enough gratitude for the wonderful creche that looks after our children. The staff here are truly exceptional – always caring, patient, and attentive to the needs of every child. They create a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where our little ones can learn, play, and grow. It’s clear they genuinely care about the well-being of each child, and the peace of mind they provide us as parents is invaluable. In times when we need them most, they are always there, going above and beyond to ensure our kids are not just looked after but are happy, engaged, and thriving. I believe we should never overlook the hard work and dedication these amazing individuals put in day after day. They continue to make a positive difference in our children’s lives, and for that, we are incredibly thankful. Let’s not forget what the staff have done and continue to do for our kids – they are truly the unsung heroes in our busy lives. I don't care about the company or the name as much as I care about our babies and their well-being. Mo

Shocking creche, god awful behaviour from management and day staff. Unprofessional at best. Stay away.

Limited on what I can say as my wife has been threatened with potential legal action over a negative review by this chain company. In short, the local staff and manager are good, have a genuine love for the kids and can't fault them. However, as time had gone on, turnover of staff got high and I feel its a reflection on the treatment they've gotten. If you read the 1 star reviews below and all the thumbs up on them, it will give you a good idea on the ethos of the company. Note, zero thumbs up on positive reviews at the time of writing this Also, our kids room closed for a week at only a couple of days notice due to staff shortage. This was not refunded to us and we were told this was part of their T&Cs we signed We didn't write a review before this for fear of our children being kicked out (see reviews below) with no childcare in place Unfortunately, there's a long waiting list for creche placements and lots of parents just don't have the luxury of choice, but my opinion is for any parents and potential carers to steer clear of this one if possible. Addressing negative reviews with threats of legal action instead of using it to improve where they fall short sums it up

We have just finished with this creche, so can finally leave an honest review. The organisation have stated in their policy negative feedback on social media can lead to a months notice being issued so I have not felt comfortable to review until now. This is information I wish I'd known as a parent looking for potential childcare for my kids. The staff in the centre were great but unfortunately turnover is significant. The company often quoted the childcare crisis as an excuse, despite the fact a lot of the staff just moved to other creches in the locality. When they open centres they seem to offer part time options then when set up, further down the line give people no choice but to go full time or leave with only a few months notice. So tread carefully if looking at a new centre / part time. The company appear to be very profitable considering they are continuously expanding. Despite ongoing staffing shortages and room closures.

Our little boy has been enjoying his introduction period into Once Upon a Time - Shankill. The staff have been excellent in helping him settle in and are very thorough with all updates and hand overs. Very reassuring to have him so well looked after.

I'm really happy with how this Creche is managed. Out two boys love their teachers and receive quality stimulation. Shout out to the teachers in charge of wobbler room and pre-monti!
