Once Upon a Time Nursery & Montessori School - Dun Laoghaire

Extremely poor service, their only priority is taking money as quickly as possible from stressed and worried parents. No regard for wellbeing of child-suggested I start my son and then withdraw him in 2 months time. Have requested an in-person meeting numerous times which apparently is not possible. Owner and operators should be ashamed.

I never leave reviews but I feel like I need to leave one here. The best thing I've done for my daughter is take her out of this creche. Staff appear to be constantly under pressure and stressed. The business is very poorly managed. Very unprofessional communication from the owner.

Very dark and mediocre creche. Way too many children for such small spaces, not enough windows or fresh air. The rooms feel cramped, with barely any sunlight coming in, which makes the environment feel dull and uninviting. The lack of ventilation is concerning, and the overall atmosphere is cold and uncomfortable. It's far from what I'd expect in a place meant for young children to thrive and play. Definitely not somewhere I'd recommend.

I have huge appreciation for Carmen, Sandra, Nathalia, Maria, Rebecca, Sharon and Luis at creche. These wonderful individuals have gone above and beyond to care for my son, particularly as he transitioned to this new creche six months ago. From day one, they were patient, kind and understanding to make his transition happy and comfortable. Thank you for your dedication and exceptional care.

We have been so happy with Once Upon a Time, Dún Laoghaire for the two years that our child has been there. He is so we'll-cared for by the warm and friendly staff and he's learning so much! The team run it really well and there's excellent communication between creche and home. Would highly recommend. Thanks for all you do!

Our daughter has been going here for over a year and we could not be more excited for her. The staff is so loving and caring, it feels like they are best friends with our daughter. She absolutely adores her teachers. When transitioning rooms they do this gradually with so much care, they always keep us up to date, and are always responsive to any request we might have. The activities are so great, it feels like the kids have a certain routine but also so much freedom to pick whatever they want to do during the day. They get lots of outdoor time and new discovery activities like sensory play, film projector projects, arts & crafts with new materials and so much more. When she was little and would have a bit more separation anxiety, they would take all the time she needed to help her to sleep, to settle or just to hug her the whole day. We feel she thrives in this daycare, has lots of friends, is learning a lot and gets to be exactly who she is <3

Can't recommend OUAT Dun Laoghaire highly enough. The staff are fantastic; very attentive to each child, and after only a short period of time our 2 year old would run into her classroom with big smiles everyday! The classrooms and outdoor area is very spacious and the children are kept busy with a huge variety of different projects and activities. It is a wonderful place...

We can't recommend Once Upon A Time Dun Laoghaire enough. Our daughter has settled very well there thanks to all the care and attention she is given by the wonderful team in Dun Laoghaire. The staff at Once Upon a Time are warm, friendly, professional and seem to truly love looking after the children in their care. Our 1 year old son goes in so happily every morning and always seems to be having the best time when we collect him. We couldn’t be happier to have him there.
