A Heartfelt Thank You to Glenone Montessori Preparatory School Both of my sons attended Glenone, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the love, care, and dedication that Susie, Lili, and their incredible team pour into this magical place. Glenone is so much more than a school—it’s a safe, nourishing, and nurturing environment where children thrive. From exciting adventures with Flash the pony, with Ted and Eoin - alpacas to reptiles and even archaeologists, every day was filled with joy and creativity. The balance of science, arts, and exploration meant my boys were always learning in the most fun and engaging ways. What stood out most was how much they loved being there—they ran through the doors every morning, eager to start their day. Glenone is a place where every child is cherished, and it shows. I couldn’t recommend Glenone more highly—it’s truly a wonderful foundation for any child. A big thank you for the memories.

It's rare you stumble across one of those hidden gems in Dublin and the day we found it, it changed our lives forever forming the happiest memories of my two children's early years. That's Glenone Montessori & Nursery in Rathgar. Glenone is like a fairytale, you have to pinch yourself to realise it's not a dream and your children have been blessed to have the most incredible start in their journey and preparation towards school. Glenone has an enchanting forest school that children adore visiting, there are chickens and rabbits in the garden, musical sessions & violin lessons for the older children. Not to mention surprise visits from the alpacas, Shetland ponies, farmyard animals, owls, reptiles, bee keepers you name it ! I watched my children grow as confident , caring and happy kids in their time with the Glenone family. Their love of life, animals , nature, music, art, learning and compassion towards their peers, just warms my heart and I know the astounding environment Susie and all the team have created has allowed the children to flourish. The Glenone family go above and beyond for the children and their families. Glenone feels like family to us and as our second child nears the end of her time in Glenone, I will be sad to see this magical chapter of our children's lives end, but I know Glenone is for life and we will always be close with these incredible women, Susie, Lili, Paula and all the team who have done so much for us. There is no place like it, if Glenone becomes the start of your family's journey, soak up every minute of the fairytale, it's one beautiful ride.

My son and daughter both attended Glenone Preparatory school. We have been with Susie and team since 2017 and were very sad to say goodbye to Glenone this year as my daughter started primary school. Glenone is one of a kind and we feel very fortunate that our kids got such a great start in the most enchanting surroundings. The care both my son and daughter received in Glenone is second to none, all the teachers they encountered throughout their time in Glenone were very extremely kind, patient and considerate, as a family run school I feel that my kids formed a special bond with all the staff and not just their own teachers. The love of nature and animals that both kids have today was fostered in Glenone through the many trips to the Forest School and the wonderful selection of both onsite and visiting animals. Both Susie and Lili put an incredible amount of time and effort into planning and organising the calendar year with an array of activities and visitors for the kids, the attention to detail is commendable. Will we forever cherish the happy days and memories from our time in Glenone.

Both of my kids are in Glenone and they absolutely love to come here! The teachers are incredibly warm, caring, and genuinely invested in each child's development. The curriculum is engaging, and the school environment is safe and nurturing. I'm so grateful for the positive impact this kindergarten has had on my children's early education.

Our experience with Glenone Montessori for our son, who attended from ages 3 to 5, was absolutely magical! Aside from the outstanding care, the one thing that sets this Montessori apart are all the extra activities carefully integrated throughout the week. Whether it’s Forest School, violin classes or the regular visits from Ted & Eoghan (the alapcas!) and Farmer Al. One of the highlights for our son was the inclusion of forest school. It was incredible to see him explore the natural world, develop a deep connection with the environment, and learn important life skills like problem-solving and teamwork through outdoor adventures. The forest school component instilled a sense of wonder and appreciation for nature that we believe will stay with him for life. Most importantly, the true Montessori approach led by his wonderful teacher Paula, allowed our child to learn through his interests. Whether he was immersed in science experiments, exploring the world of books, or engaging in hands-on art projects, the school encouraged him to follow his passions. It was incredible to see how his curiosity thrived in this environment. The sense of community at Glenone was exceptional. We formed close bonds with other families who shared our enthusiasm for this unique educational approach. As our son graduated, he not only had a solid academic foundation but also a deep connection to nature, a budding talent in music, and a love for animals. We cannot thank Susie, Lili, Paula and the entire Glenone family enough for such a positive start to our sons love of learning.

I could not have been happier with my sons experience at Glenone - staff were so lovely and genuine. I felt very comfortable leaving my son in their care. He was fed nutritious food every day and I loved that the children spent so much time outdoors. I would highly recommend!

Glenone is a wonderful haven or care and learning for little ones. Our 3 boys had great experiences in the care of Susie, Lili, Rose, Veronique, Julia and all the long standing caring teachers. A special place.
