An outstanding nursery which I would highly recommend. My son thoroughly enjoyed his time there, engaging with the well-planned projects introduced throughout the year. He loved all the creative activities and songs, making friends with other children and the teachers there. I feel that he was well-prepared for his transition into the reception year. You can also choose half days which was very helpful as I work part time. Sad to leave there! A big thank you to Vivien and her team I’m grateful for the time you took to teach and care for my son

My son attended Toad Hall for 2 years and loved it. It is a wonderful small caring nursery where they really care about the children and help them grown and develop. My son's confidence and language really improved on starting. They offer an amazing range of experiences for the kids including fire engines visiting the site, enjoying being outside in the beautiful square, hatching chicks and watching caterpillars turn into butterflies. I ran out of space for all the brilliant art they helped him produce. He left fully ready for school and will really miss it.

I look back with tears in my eyes and a big smile on all the amazing projects and subjects my son was privileged to discover, all the beaitiful and creative artworks he brought home and the lovely songs you taught him which he was singing at home. I really hope that he will keep some memories of these 2 wonderful years at Toad Hall, too. He became an independent, selfconfident and happy little boy. This nursery is a unique place with highly experienced and dedicated teachers. I cannot wait to send my youger son there soon. Thank you!

We cannot recommend Toad Hall highly enough. We found it by word of mouth and have since met lots of families whose children have benefitted from the long serving expert team over the years. Our daughter really flourished, loved learning there and grew in confidence. She also absolutely loved all the extras they organised like holding an owl and going to Parliament. It is a very special place.

My son Demyan attended Toad Montessori Nursery for 1.5 years. He really enjoyed going to the nursery, even though it was a bit challenging at first. However, the teachers were very supportive and helped him adapt. The variety of art activities, crafts, and drawing projects kept him engaged, and Demyan would bring something new home every day! Each term introduced a new theme for exploration. The visits from the mounted police and firefighters are memories that Demyan will cherish for a lifetime, as will the wonderful and professional teachers he had. A special thanks to Vivien, Maria Luiza, Katie, and Carolyn.

Absolutely amazing nursery! It's relatively small and has a family feel. Our son attended from 2 to 4 years old and he thrived there, learnt a lot and made friends. We are confident he is prepared for Reception now and we are really grateful to Vivien, Carolyn, Maria Luiza and Katie. Thanks for being such great teachers and creating such a fantastic space for the little ones!

We have sent all 3 kids here and have been really impressed with the level of teaching at Toad Hall. The focus on art work is outstanding and the kids leave already knowing all their letters, which sets them up for reading in Reception. Every two weeks the teachers lead a new project, like Birds, India, Butterflies, Spring. Vivian and the team are great. It's a nurturing, educational, small nursery, and our kids have felt supported, loved, and stimulated there. Would highly recommend.

I was forced to take my son out of the nursery last minute, as he was getting sick every week. I am going through a tough cancer treatment and being infected with viruses that my son brought home was putting my health at huge risk. I had no choice and asked the owner to refund the money that had been paid upfront for the last few remaining weeks. I still needed to pay for childcare with that money – I am a single mum and need time to attend treatment appointments and to recover. The owner refused my request saying I did not give her enough notice. She knows my situation well, I do rely on childcare support but keeping my son in her nursery was simply too hazardous for my wellbeing as a cancer patient. I find such a behaviour uncaring and mean. How can someone in the owner’s position teach values and compassion to small kids if they do not practice them? I would not recommend placing your child in this nursery.
