The de Lacey Montessori School, Isleworth

De Lacey Isleworth is a truly outstanding nursery. The difference was clear from the moment I walked in with my then 18-month-old son. The team are exceptional - skilled, highly professional, nurturing and showing a depth of understanding and care for my child. I've been amazed by the speed at which my son has learned new skills and developed a real love for learning. The nursery's approach has fostered his natural curiosity, encouraging him to explore and discover new things. I'm so happy to see him thriving in such a supportive environment. I highly recommend De Lacey!

De Lacey in Isleworth is simply a world class nursery. My daughter attended for a number of years and the staff were caring, considerate and full of energy every day. They always had time to discuss any issues with parents and truly cared about the children's individual needs. The learning activities were excellent as was the food which had a healthy bias. Having seen a number of nurseries in the area and globally this nursery simply cannot be recommended enough. Truly outstanding and prepares the children very well for school. Wonderful people that my daughter and family will miss.

DeLacey has exceeded all my expectations in ensuring my child settled well into the nursery. Staff are polite and always greet with a friendly smile. They support my child well and understand and cater to his needs. I am pleased with the variety of activities he enjoins in and would highly recommend this nursery.

I went to de Lacey on my friend's recommendation for my daughter. My daughter was 2 years and few months and she still had not started talking as per her age. As parents, we were worried about her. However, two months down the line, after starting her nursery, we were amazed by how much vocabulary she picked up and how she started speaking in sentences. ( Remember, she did previously attend another nursery prior to this). We have seen our daughter grow in every area and the attention that teachers give her have been amazing. She loves her arts, crafts, sports and has come a long way in listening to instructions. The warmth seen in teachers and Management is not just towards the children but also towards their parents and siblings. They have been part of us in our journey when we had our second child, preparing our daughter in her role as a big sister and being patient with us as parents. Thank you de Lacey for all the goodness and passion you have for the children.

Highly recommended! The de Lacey team are just lovely – professional, warm and very good at what they do. Many of the staff have been at de Lacey for a long period of time – in the three years we have been there, there has been barely any turnover. This provides a very stable environment for the children and they form close bonds with their teachers. The Montessori content allows a sense of independence and curiosity and the children are very well prepared for starting reception. They are also taught good social skills and to be kind little people. As a parent, nothing is too much trouble to the de Lacey team – they are always happy to chat and to provide updates and advice. Both our children have loved the school. My youngest is occasionally disappointed that he does for get to go to nursery during the holidays! Knowing that one’s children are in good, safe, caring hands is invaluable - and this is what the de Lacey Montessori School has provided for us.

My son started in late 2019. The teachers have been great. When I come there is a warm feeling, all the staff are friendly. I always feel comfortable and safe leaving my son. Thank you very much for helping my son grow.

We've been so very lucky to have this wonderful school a few minutes away from home! My son spent there 2 very happy years and really came out of his cocoon thanks to the fabulous hard work and dedication of the teachers. He didn't really speak when he joined and 2 years on he is a true chatterbox and that is almost entirely the school's merit. They also helped him reach milestones and made him very curious about the world around him with a lot of patience, kindness and care. I've been impressed with how they understand and respect each child's individuality and personality. No thank you will ever be enough for what you have done for us! We feel truly fortunate to have met you all and will miss you a lot.

My child has been in De Lacey Montessori for more than 2 years now and I couldn’t recommend them more. The nursery has played an instrumental role in my daughters development, making her a confident , curious and compassionate child ready To move on to a ‘BIG SCHOOL’. De Lacey has been a Home away from home where my child feels most comfortable, understood and loved.
