Our daughter absolutely loved it here from 10 months to 3 and a quarter. The staff are brilliant and the kids love them; our daughter has built some really strong relationships. It was amazing to watch her grow from a shy young baby to a really confident little girl and we have pillarbox to thank for a lot of that. The curriculum is very varied with lots of opportunity for extra curricular activity - yoga, spanish, swimming. She’s had a very well-rounded start to her education at such a young age and we will be sending our second here.

We couldn't recommend this nursery more highly. Ana and her team cared brilliantly for our son and he loved playing with his friends and learning so much over three years.

My son has been at Pillarbox since he was one, and we couldn't be happier. Brilliant staff - always so kind and supportive - and giving the children a lovely variety of educational as well as fun activities every day. Couldn't recommend it more highly

Called up to get info about the nursery and book a visit. The deputy manager/director hung up in my face mid-sentence and after reading the reviews definitely not pursuing anything with this place.

We will be forever grateful for the wonderful 2 years our son spent at Pillarbox. Ana and all of the staff are not only extremely professional but also adore and care for all of the children like their own. Their days are filled with wonderful experiences both educational and so much fun. French, yoga and ballet every week as well as Montessori, creative play and the wonderful outside space. Our family have loved this nursery and happily recommend to any family. Thank you so much - we will miss you all!

I would strongly suggest to stay away form this nursery, I was on the point to have my daughter start at the end of January 2024, but an increase on fees was communicated (which is understandable) but when questioning why only 5 full days saw an increase of 15% on monthly fees as opposed to all other number of days being increased by smaller % (If you have any doubts feel free to question this) I was never provided a clear answer, I was then put a contact with the so called "Director" who clearly shown that she is only interested to have you pay the money as she also avoided the question and wasn't not able to justify anything, and instead of being detailed she simply mentioned that she decided not to accept my daughter at this nursery. No empathy shown, no acknowledgement, so what would happen if you ever had any questions regarding anything in the future? Updated answer: I’m more than happy to acknowledge all your statements, so if you check your inbox, you will actually see that the day after visiting the nursery we let you know that we were happy to register our daughter at your nursery, if you were actually honest you would actually mention that you (the nursery) were the ones that were quite slow with the process and never really adhered to the dates, and I was the one always asking for updates, do you remember your email in mid October I was told I was going to receive the invoice with correct fees, which was only received in December….. You did not provide any information regarding the increase you just mentioned the following: “The fee increases this year are mostly in line with the current rate of inflation which is 6.8%. Our biggest increase is for the 5 days 0 – 2 age group” but never mentioned anything about the inflation %, and couldn’t explain why the 15%…. I don’t think we were asking for much but yet again you’ve shown the lack of empathy and being dishonest in public seems to be matching the previous reviews, remember emails are dated…

Our daughter just finished at Pillar Box Gardens (0-18 months) and it was amazing. All the staff in the snowdrop room are so lovely. Our daughter had a Key worker change and we were worried but she resettled with Lydie. Nazira is so sweet with our daughter and our daughter would cuddle her at the end of the day sometimes twice when we picked her up. I'm sad to leave. Ana is great, clear communication and great with the kids too. I'm really happy shes taking over management of the other nursery as I know she'll have it running well in no time.

My daughter has been at Fairfield road and now Bow Road for almost a year. The loves the staff and has a great time and that is what matters most!

Didn't even get back to me about applying for a nursery place but after reading these reviews, thank God.
