Newpark Montessori School & Nursery | Shepherd’s Bush

We couldn’t be happier with the experience our son has had at Newpark nursery (Shepherds Bush). From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed and reassured by the warmth, professionalism, and dedication of the staff. The nurturing environment provided by the nursery has been instrumental in helping our son grow both socially and emotionally. It’s evident that the team genuinely cares about each child’s individual needs, creating a sense of belonging and safety. The communication from the nursery has also been exceptional. Whether it’s updates on his progress or details about daily activities, we’ve always felt informed and connected. The staff’s attention to detail and their enthusiasm for celebrating milestones, both big and small, have made a huge difference in our son’s confidence and joy. We’re deeply grateful for the positive impact the nursery has had on our son’s early years, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Newpark Montessori school and nursery to any family looking for a caring and enriching environment for their child. Thank you for everything you’ve done to make this such a wonderful experience for our family!

Edited: YES it's correct what I wrote. By denying what I said will not change anything I'm sorry you don't want to accept a negative review for your nursery but I have worked there so I know. YES the toddler room was seperate and the baby room was up those little stairs near the staff room I know what I am saying. The toddler room was seperate when I worked there in 2016 I would not make a lie up and put something on here. I saw 4 staff leave in the short time I was there. The problem wasn't the management it was some staff I have seen staff cry. Please kindly do not make me out as I am lying. I have seen staff crying there hence I left. I did work here. My real name is not my Google profile name. I did not like working here because the staff were horrible and rude. The room leaders in toddler room were awful. The room leader in baby room was awful and unfriendly. I have witnessed 1 staff crying almost every week from the toddler room. Her name begins with K. she is Hungarian not sure if she is there now. Of course I know this nursery. Long long hours and they make you do your observations as and when you can. I saw staff do observations on there lunch break! People are not robots a break should be to rest. Also when I complaint about this I was told "it can't be changed." I have seen 6 staff leave within 4 months of being there. So depressing and unfriendly environment. Avoid at all costs. What you see from outside is different from inside.

Our son left Newpark a year ago and I forgot to leave a review… this place is the closest to home our baby was ever at. He started in the middle of the pandemic, so it was not easy for anyone to adapt, but the whole team made huge efforts for him to feel safe and welcomed. Every detail was taken care of, from activities that sparked his creativity to wholehearted moments we will cherish for ever I will always be greatful for the love and attention they gave to our son during his time here, also the fact that there are multilingual teachers was very helpful to our son who speaks 3 different ones. We cant recommend them enough, if you are lucky enough to get a place, you wont regret it! Thank you Newpark, M misses you all xxx Giselle

Highly highly recommend Newpark. We have two children there, one in the school and one in the nursery and across the board the staff have been amazing at caring for and teaching them. Our kids have very different personalities and the staff nurture both of their interests and involve them in activities and learning in a way they individually respond to. The kids have sports, cooking and gardening lessons each week on top of the Montessori learning and come home chatting about what they’ve learnt. Most importantly though, they are both very happy. They walk in each day as if it’s their second home (which let’s be honest it is!) and come out smiling every day. We are so happy we sent them to Newpark. 5 🌟 from us.

My daughter attended 3 years at Newpark and recently left to primary school. She has grown to be independent and confident during this period and we've felt the kindness and passion from every teacher she has had during these years. They sparked her confidence and curiosity in many ways, she has great relationships with all her teachers and will miss them greatly. As a parent, knowing your child is being well cared, nurtured and encouraged in developing their inner self gives a feeling of tranquility and confidence very much welcomed in the hectic life of parenting a baby/toddler. Truly recommend them

Newpark Montessori has been incredible in encouraging independence, curiosity and confidence in my son. I have been through the Montessori system myself and it was so heartwarming to see him enjoying the same materials and activities I did back in the day. The teachers absolutely care and know each child and their personalities. Thank you for preparing him so well for Reception!

Can’t recommend them more! My daughter had just graduated from Newpark to her primary school and I can’t be more happy of having decided to choose them for taking care of my child for 3 years. I find education fascinating, especially as an enabler of options for each person. My standard is very high and I chose newpark after having visited 20 nurseries/preschools in the area… they ticked every single box: - kind and loving environment where even the shyest child(mine is) can express themselves as they are and explore with passion and curiosity anything that interests them - the preschool teachers are very passionate on what they do, they take time to understand each personally and help them individually - their Montessori philosophy is simply great! They offer them not only the whole environment open up to what each kid is interested, but also loads of practical life activities for them to enjoy like gardening, feeling proud for doing things by themselves, to understanding emotions, sports, cooking lessons…. As well as respect and kindness. - they have so much space and multiple areas. - they encourage the can do attitude My girl finished in here as soon as she turned 4 and despite of being the youngest child in her new primary school, she had a great start as they’d prepared her in advance. I love how passionate everyone ir,all the effort out into offering them load of options to explore. Even from the admin part they are amazing: communication was clear and efficient. Our daughter loved going there in the mornings, which makes your life as a parent so much easier Thank you all for such an amazing journey for our little one.

My daughter went to Newpark from 15 months until recently aged 3 (and only had to leave because we moved to Surrey), and it is the best setting we could have found for her. She tried another nursery before Newpark for 2 months and it filled me with dread every morning to drop her off as she could cry for a long time and they would often ask me to pick her up as they couldn't console her, however, she has barely ever cried at drop off for Newpark and I can only put this down to the teachers and key workers being so incredibly kind and patient with her. I did a lot of research beforehand so I know very well that Newpark is the best nursery in the area for anyone looking for their child to develop very independently and creatively so I would 100% recommend. I was very nervous about moving to Surrey as we weren't sure if we could find somewhere as great as Newpark, it's a tough act to follow! If you are looking for nursery's and schools in the area, definitely book an appointment to visit now - it's the best and we miss it so much!
