Our son had a wonderful experience at this nursery. He started at 4 months old and loved it as soon as he joined, creating a strong bond and trusting relationship. His head teacher Cristina was amazing with him from the start as well as all the other early year assistants and teachers. We loved that she spoke to him in Spanish (same as at home) and particularly that she set goals for him from the start such as exposing him to different textures, helping him develop strong neck and shoulder muscles by doing more tummy time, and eventually sitting up. In addition, all the staff is very good at communicating. The nursery uses the app famly to stay in touch with day-to-day queries and patterns (food/sleep/diaper changes) but also to give weekly updates on the group activities as well as personal child development. It's fantastic as it shows you how well your child is progressing and how much fun he is having. Montessori Garden Nursery is great at conducting activities for all ages, our son was able to contribute to all activities from the start (even to the smallest extent as he was the youngest around at first) which satisfied his curiosity and made him feel part of a team early on. The children go in the garden twice a day to take some fresh air, thanks to this I've really witnessed in my son a new appreciation of the outdoors. Moreover, as soon as our son started eating solids, he was able to be exposed to the wonderful dishes MGN's cook prepares. It developed his pallet and appreciation of different foods and flavors, as well as dexterity. He loved everything except for beetroot! Lastly, we really appreciate the daily reports at drop off as well as the parent-teacher talks and organized parents' events (mother's day breakfast, picnics etc). Overall a fantastic nursery with passionate and caring staff and management, which I truly recommend.

Our son has attended nursery at MGNS for almost one year since he was 1.5 years old. The teachers and the management team were welcoming, engaged, caring, and supportive. When he was in the settlement process, I stayed with him in the nursery for some time. I saw that all children were calm, happy, and well behaved in the setting. Our son also settled smoothly: now he eats well, sleeps well, makes friends, and learns new things every day. He likes hugs and receives a lot of hugs every day. It is like another home to him. Some other special features: 1) warm and diverse food prepared from their kitchen, which our son likes very much 2) when the weather is nice, they went to the nearby parks/ playground/ hampstead heath, animal farm, local library, and even a fire station! (I know some nurseries do not take children < 3 years old outside). I felt our son flourished here and grew so much. Highly recommend to all families in the area!

Unfortunately I & a few parents are considering taking legal action against the nursery due to a staff member being seen outside sharing pictures of our children on their phones. The staff member who wears a hijab and looks like they are from Bangladesh.

Amazing nursery! Staff if great. Our child really enjoyed spending time there . He has grown up a lot and learned a lot there. Montessori approach made him much more independent and i could see it from his 2nd day in the nursery. Would highly recommend to any parent this nursery!

Brilliant Nursery Setting. Teachers are engaged, caring and knowledgeable. Little ones have tons of fun, and are encouraged to explore and develop in a friendly environment. Our kid grew from a barely walking toddler into a little man in his years there. We couldn't be happier with the service he got, and would definitely recommend Montessori Garden to any parent looking for outstanding childcare around Kentish Town / Tufnell Park.

Our son went to this nursery since 11-19 months and we felt that he was in great hands. Montessori methodology is actually applied since early age and all professionals are fantastic. Our son loved the food and snacks and they were healthy and diverse.

Wonderful nursery with caring teachers and great activities. I can't recommend it highly enough. I looked at a lot of nurseries and knew immediately that this one was right for us. Our son learned so much from his time here and just loved it. Thank you so much to all the lovely staff there. Positive Quality

MGN is a really special place and we are so happy we found it. Our boy was there for over a year and he flourished under their care. It is the only nursery setting we found where the staff seemed really exceptional -- meeting each child's individual needs and tailoring their guidance to the person, not a standard. A gentle atmosphere, fun, engaging, respectful. We felt they nurtured a human being, not skills (though these came along too). A holistic approach that really really works. Our only sadness was that because of the pandemic, their outings and off-site visits were curtailed and for an older child there is simply not adequate outside space for exercise and play. If you have a small child or if there's not a global pandemic (so they can do their regular outings), don't hesitate about choosing this gem of a nursery.
