I would certainly recommend Alderley Day Nursery. Recently our son has really started to enjoy going to Nursery, it seems there is good management in place now and the staff do a great job. We get regular updates and when we ask for specific things like help with potty training or focusing on a certain task or area of learning they’re more than happy to help.

My daughter has been attending the nursery for 2 years, and we are very pleased with her development, progress and her care. With the new owners the standards slipped but now they are improving again . At the age of 3 she can count to 20 almost without mistakes, she recognizes written numbers 0-10 and has started recognizing letters too. We are raising her bilingual with Spanish as second language, so we were very pleased to know she is starting Spanish class in preschool room at the nursery. Parents can make suggestions and they are following a structured learning program now. The only things I would improve are having 2 hot meals and more pictures and reports in the app, although it has improved from previously! I recommend having a tour at it to see how much outdoor spaces they have, even they grow some vegetables

We started in April and have had a really positive experience so far. The staff in our room have been at the nursery for a long time and have been really supportive in our transition from maternity leave. The information and pics on parentzone app are great but the handovers in the morning and evening show how much care and attention is taken for each individual child. It 100% makes it much easier when you're little one is happy to go to the staff that they see regularly. Being purpose built, every room has access to an outside area so they don't have to work to "slots" and outside time isn't just restricted to "nice" days. On seeing some of the negative reviews that people shared through the takeover by busy need we had a meeting with the centre and area manager and they were really open and helpful. I also agree with others that the Ofsted seemed harsh on comparison to our day to day experience of the place but I would also say more of a reflection of the old guard than the new. They literally do in a day what I could do in a week the amount of activities they do! Couldn't recommend this place more!

My little girl has attended busy bees since January and I have to say I can’t fault the team. They are caring, compassionate and have such beautiful bonds with all the children that they care for. The recent ofsted report was a little unfair in some aspects, but regardless it is clear to see that the management team and the staff team are working hard to pull it back. The management team are also working hard to ensure the highest level of communication for parents and have started doing things such as coffee mornings, menu tasting sessions and more stay and play opportunities. I would urge any potential parents to book a tour and make their own judgement, don’t be put off by disgruntled parents & bad reviews!

My daughter has been attending since January and on collection I can see the love and care the staff have for each child in the setting. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds. The new system iconnect has been a lot better for me so if I don't remember something about her day I can log on to that and see. Knowing the bond my daughter has with the staff I wouldn't take her anywhere else , she really enjoys coming. I would love more pictures on her doing activities if possible.

I have two children that have attended this nursery over the past 5 years. They are both provided with lots of amazing opportunities and experiences. The staff always go above and beyond to make sure my child's needs are met. My children have both become very independent since attending this setting.

I have recently joined Busy Bees Alderley and after reading all of the negative reviews, I was very apprehensive. Since joining I cannot fault the team and the nursery. The staff are very caring and my little girl has a brilliant bond with them all. I would advise visiting to make your own judgement

* to add to this review we have thankfully removed our child a few months ago and feel so sorry for those still stuck there. After our report to Ofsted they have been in and now downgraded the nursery across the board to needs improvement (although quite frankly should be lower) For any people looking to send your baby or child here DONT, you will 100% regret it and the care, management and brand is 100% is below satisfactory. It is gutting to have to send your child to nursery full stop, let alone to a place with no care, standards or hope. Busy bees have well and truly destroyed a previously wonderful establishment. This nursery has gone shockingly down hill since being taken over by busy bees. They have bought the Montessori name however there is no practice or experience left within the team and I do not believe they are entitled to advertise as this style of nursery. The busy bee brand has slowly but surely picked away at all of the originally great aspects of the nursrey. They have tried to cut cost on everything including the menus, the staff, the nappies, even not having the lights on in the day! There is next to none original staff left, and we are not impressed with the staff that they have been replaced with. There is simply no management to speak to, and the deputy manager in post is unqualified for the role and unable to help with anything. Babies and children are left to cry without comfort on a daily basis and we have witnessed children being ignored when in great distress. We have also witnessed a full room of babies and toddlers being left with not a single adult supervising when ratios should be 3:1 at all times. (The staff were in the room next door chatting) The standards and quality of this place are getting lower by the day and it is my understanding that over 20 children have been pulled as a result of this. We have recently removed our child from here and I would very much advise against people looking into this nursery as the busy bee standards are low, standardised and very much not Montessori, and we don't see this changing any time soon.
