Meadows Montessori School, Preschool & Forest School, Chiswick

Meadows Montessori is absolutely fantastic. The nursery feels like a warm hug. My kids have thrived with the thoughtful combination of child-directed activities and the teaching of key skills through the Montessori method. My youngest is off to Reception this September and I know that he had the best start of his education here. He is enthusiastic about learning and has been encouraged, nurtured and loved every step of the way. The teachers are highly qualified and the way they cared about my child , gave him the perfect environment to start his learning journey. He LOVES his nursery, his friends and his teachers. I would highly recommend Meadows Montessori from the overwhelming list of nurseries in chiswick.

Both my children attended Meadows between the ages of 4-6 and it is just the most wonderful environment. The staff are loving and attentive and really get to know your children and what’s important to them. They offer a wonderful range of activities, crafts and cooking and we will all hold fond memories of this special place forever .

Between 2007 and 2018 our three sons attended Meadows, and loved their time there. All three boys ran into school every morning, delighted to be back with their wonderful teachers and great friends. There was never a day when they didn’t want to go in, and they especially loved the packed lunch days when they could stay for the afternoon. Between the Forest school, allotment, outdoor play areas, Christmas and Summer shows, cooking, creating, singing and dancing, artwork and play, the children have the opportunity to explore and learn for themselves with the most loving and caring supervision and guidance. The school is outstanding, not just according to the official Ofsted rating, but in every way. Perhaps the greatest tribute is how much the boys still speak about their teachers and time at Meadows with great love and affection.

Meadows is a fantastic nurturing environment for small people and families. Four of my sons have attended Meadows and we have throughly loved our time there. The staff of many many years experience are fun and so kind. A teacher is what makes a child’s first learning experience great, the enthusiasm and passion given to the children is second to none, they are so creative, inclusive, with open arms to all. I do not believe you will find a better more balanced loving nursery. I can not recommend meadows more highly. My children have left with confidence, curiosity, thoughtfulness and good friends. I was fortunate enough to have both of my boys enjoy a full 2 years at Meadows and my Y3 son STILL talks about how wonderful it was. They both had the most nurturing, caring, educational, and most importantly fun time and I only wish there was a Meadows Primary school. I knew that when I left them every morning that they were in the best possible hands thanks to the supportive, affectionate and experienced teachers and there were always hugs on hand for difficult days - for both the children and me! The school is run by such knowledgable and understanding people and the same people who taught my now 14 year old niece were the same people who taught my now 5 year old. I cannot rate this place highly enough and your child will receive the best start in life if they come to this wonderful school.

Wonderful Montessori nursery for children 2-5 years old with an outstanding OFSTED rating. It is based in the large community centre with two outside areas for the children to explore the outdoor world. The teachers have been with the school for many years and there is a lovely community feeling amongst the children and parents. They also offer forest school experience. It's open mornings every daily from 8.30- 12 and has extended days on a Tuesday and Thursday. A lovely school
