From the moment my 2-year-old daughter started attending, I knew she was in excellent hands. The level of dedication, care, and attention they provide to each child is truly remarkable. The staff at Julia's go above and beyond to ensure the well-being and happiness of every child, and my daughter has flourished under their care. And speaking of care, I must give a special mention to Julia herself. Not only is she sweet and nurturing, but she is also an excellent leader and educator. Her passion for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for the children is evident in every aspect of the nursery. I have seen the impact of her leadership in the warm and loving atmosphere that permeates the nursery. The level of transparency and communication provided by Julia and her staff is exceptional. Julia takes a personal interest in every child and has instilled a culture of genuine care and attention to detail throughout the nursery. The dedication and passion she brings to her role as the director are truly commendable, and I feel grateful to have my daughter under her guidance. Julia's Montessori is a lovely, nurturing environment for young children. Our son walked in on the first day and never looked back. Julia has been running the nursery for many years and has a lovely, caring manner, as do her staff. We get little pointers on things we can be doing at home to support learning and preparation for school, which we personally find very helpful. If you are unsure about whether a Montessori is the right kind of nursery for your child, Julia will talk you through it. Our son looks forward to going to nursery and has made some lovely friends there. That's the most important thing for us.

I cannot thank Julia, Anya and Julie enough for the incredibly warm, caring and nurturing environment they have provided my son from the very first day he started. As soon as I walked in, I knew it was the right place - and it really does feel like I'm leaving my child in the care of an auntie or grandparent! I was extremely nervous with having a very clingy child, and with my second being born the same week my son started nursery, but Julia and the team were amazing and made me feel very at ease. The vast experience of the team and the fact they have worked their for a long time means the children get the best care and continuity they need. Yes, some other nurseries may have shiny, newer facilities and bigger outdoor spaces - but the most important thing for me was that my child would be looked after by people that genuinely cared about providing the best environment and tailored support to meet his needs. For me, you cannot put a price on that, and I will forever be grateful for the wonderful couple of years my son has had at Julia's.

I cannot recommend Julia's enough. Our son was born in lockdown so when he started aged 2 had not had much exposure to groups etc. Julia, Anya and Julie were amazing, they let him transition at his own pace, everything they do is child centered and our boy is so happy there. Never had any tears at drop off, he runs in without looking back. From the moment we looked around we new it was the right place for us, the atmosphere was so calm and welcoming. The small size and experienced team makes for a nurturing, safe and creative environment. Do not be put off by the lack of garden, they still have outside space which they use daily with lots of out door toys. My son is very active and he always comes home tired and happy. A genuinely lovely pre school. All of staff genuinely care, the children thrive with them, they know their role inside out and the low staff turnover means that children can form meaningful long term relationships with them.

I’ve also found the communication between the nursery and parents to be great- both with the happenings of what’s going on at nursery and also quick to respond to any communication via email, phone or text message. Even when I needed wrap-around care to align with my work schedule, Julia's seamlessly helped us out by connecting us with a brilliant local childminder who would collect my son (and other children) from the nursery, providing me with the flexibility I required. If you're on the lookout for an exceptional nursery, I wholeheartedly recommend Julia's. It's a place where your child will thrive, surrounded by a dedicated team that truly cares.

Julia’s Montessori has provided an amazing safe and creative space for my daughter. Julia, Anya, Julie, Sarah and Charlie are highly spoken about everyday when she comes home. My daughter can be very challenging but they are always so understanding and know exactly what she needs to get her back on track. The Montessori style learning is exactly what pre-school children need, allowing education to not be so restrictive so they gain a love of learning.
