I understand how children need to play around but considering this nursery is located right in the middle of a neighbourhood, teachers definitely ought to keep them from shouting so loud. Please DO consider taking the kids to Hyde Park instead leaving them screaming in the nursery.

To potential new parents of Bright Horizon, Hyde Park. I write this review to share our experience with this specific branch of Bright Horizon. Our daughter, who is now 2,5 yr old, attended the toddler room from Sep 2022 to Dec 2023. Initially, our journey with BH Hyde Park was great, as management and staff was rock solid and had all worked in the nursery for many years. The manager had to retire in summer 2023 and this was when the staff turnover rocketed and so much turbulence hit the nursery the following 6 months. Coming from an OFSTED report that was ‘outstanding’ to an ‘inadequate’ rating in August 23, months without proper transparency, communication nor plan for how to resolve basic operational aspects and several new key caregivers, we decided to pull our daughter out. We are now able to compare the care and attention she received at BH with the care she receives in another nursery now, and I must say there is a huge difference in her behaviour and confidence. I rarely write reviews, but as this concerns small human beings, I would want to know everything I could about the place I trust with my children. Our experience with Bright Horizon, Hyde Park nursery, was far from good in terms communication, structure, pro-active attitude and most importantly creating a predictable everyday life for our daughter. Several other parents also reached out to Bright Horizon HQ, including myself, requesting support to the nursery and making official complaints, as alarming facts about the children were shared in the parent group, but these were not followed up on by HQ, which was a massive disappointment and great frustration. I sincerely hope that things have changed to the better by now, but if I was a new parent looking for a good nursery for my child, I would look somewhere else.

Our daughter has been in the nursery since she was 7 months and we moved her to full days a few months ago. The transition was super easy which took us by pleasant surprise and is a reflection of the great care the nursery provide. The teachers provide timely updates of their schedules. They also share feedback as well as observations of her growth and developments. The include activities like show and tell, yoga which my daughter loves and is a great for their learning and confidence. My daughter looks forward to going to the nursery and meeting her friends and teachers which is very sweet and reassuring.

My son has been at Bright Horizons Hyde Park for almost 6 months now, he has settled in extremely well, and loves his surroundings. I know this because he’s excited at drop off, has been eating and sleeping well, and has developed massively over the course of his attendance at the nursery. True there had been some changes in Management, but actually this turned out for the better, as the team currently in place is professional, caring, friendly, and supportive of all children and parents. Most importantly they offer a sense of safety to both children and parents. The nursery and the Management team are continuously improving the premises to create more stimulating spaces and activities for the children. They appreciate feedback and suggestions which as a parent is reassuring. A massive thank you to the entire team.

children make very noisy screamming here, very suspicious about what happens and very distrubing for the surrounding neighbour.

They don't even deserve one star. The Deputy Manager, Ben, from there called me on 23/12 at 3PM (a day before Christmas eve!) that they would cancel the spot for my baby on the 3rd of January. It has been confirmed from the summer and I reasured her start via emails and a phone call in November. Ben told me they would close the nursery until the 2nd of January (of course). I really don't know how this happened to us and how dare they called me in such a last minute. If they figured out they would not offer a spot for my baby, they should have called us before the 23/12!! We basically could have done anything since we got their call because all nurseries are closed due to the holiday season!! I cannot belive such a messy and impolite administration system.

Our son had a chance to be with Ms Francis at Bright Horizons Hyde Park Day Nursery & Preschool for about one week of backup care. And it was a great experience of welcome, joy and love for us. Therefore, I would like to express my heart warming appreciation to Ms Francis who is so welcoming, kind, caring and considerate. First, the experience with Ms Francis let us feel super welcomed and cared. We (me & my 4-year old son) are not from London and had to travel to London for about one week. Because I had to work so I scheduled the backup care for my son for that week. Unfortunately, the original care center which accepted my son on Monday decided not take my son in for the week because of his previous medical history. It was totally devastating to me as it would have severely disrupted my schedules. So as you can image, I was totally in desperation mode after that. However, when I called Bright Horizons Hyde Park, Ms Francis, after patiently hearing about our situation, welcomed us to the center, which really brought the silver light to us that day. Ms Francis is so knowledgable about my son's medical history and let us not worry about it. It was such a relief for us after hearing from Ms Francis. Second, Ms Francis and center made my son feel really loved and welcomed during that week and he was really happy there. At the end of first day when I picked up Lucas, I saw he was so happy and smiling a lot. Not to mention in the following days, my son didn't even cried at all when I dropped him and often said he had a good day. That was really rare to see. Because, even at home, my son occasionally had troubles of being willing to go and stay at school, and usually cried a lot. Therefore, I just want to say great thanks to Ms Francis and the other teachers at this center for calming him down, cuddling him and making him feel welcomed and happy. In general, we really appreciate and felt lucky that my son got a chance to meet Ms Francis and spend time at the center. She is so wonderful and lovely, as well as Bright Horizons Hyde Park. Sincerely Hong

I don’t usually post but feel like I have to to protect the children who have been unfortunate enough to be deposited here and alert parents to this. I live in the building that shares a courtyard with this nursery and sound travels - the woman in charge in the morning screams constantly at the children for no good reason other than the fact that they are behaving like children, and the children are always upset or crying because you can hear that they’re being handled roughly. Children forget easily but the trauma remains. Parents who place their children here, please closely monitor your children’s reactions to heading in- they may not be able to articulate it but this treatment may be the reason why they’re reluctant to leave you.

My worst experience and first impressions of a nursery. The staff are cold and not welcoming and it's not difficult to see why they are like that as they are led by an unfriendly manager. Don't be fooled by the hyde park location but you walk in and all you hear are poor babies/toddlers crying and the staff not doing anything about it.

The best nursery that offers peace of mind to the parents with the love and caring that the children get! We miss you so much all!
