Our daughter started Bright Horizons just a month ago having been at a much smaller nursery in London and she absolutely loves it here. The facilities and indoor and outdoor space are amazing and the staff are very caring and attentive. We are so happy with how quickly she has settled here since there has been so much change moving house.

The staff here are so friendly and our son absolutely loves going here everyday. They do a variety of activities and are always coming up with new ideas. He loves the food and is always having 2nds! Would highly recommend this nursery as we are very happy with the level of care our son gets. The longer opening hours are great for commuting too.

We're very happy to have our daughter here and plan on having our second join as well when she comes. The staff is great, extremely responsive and professional and show an enormous amount of care for the kids. They do so many activities every day, and do a great job of tracking learning milestones. Our daughter always comes home knackered, she's learning so much, and loves everyone there.

Fantastic nursery. The staff are friendly and supportive. You can see how much time and effort they put into planning fun and educational activities for the children. I wouldn’t pick another nursery to send my children to.

This is a lovely nursery where all the children are looked after their individual needs really well. My child is excited to go there every morning and has built up a super little friendship group. The variety of activities and interaction with the carers has had such a positive impact on my child’s development. Keep up the great work!

Extremely well managed nursery. The staff continually go out of their way to find new educational ways to entertain and engage the children. The children and parents are always met with kind and welcoming response from staff this is echoed by how much my son loves it. I can easily say that Bright Horizons Haslemere is the best nursery in the area and I will 100% recommend it to anyone thinking of sending their child there

If you are wanting to send your most precious beings to this nursery then please think twice. My daughter is still traumatized from her one month at this Nursery. A business that treats toddlers like robots. Filthy enviroment , coats and bags on the floor. Dusty, unorganized classroom. Shocking bathrooms. Food - snack time child is usually only offered one snack. Example. Banana for morning snack, apple for afternoon snack. Now as we know most toddlers are fussy and don’t eat most fruits etc so my daughter really struggled with the lack of variety. For weeks I noticed she wasn’t eating at school on the app, I would fetch her and she would be pale, weak and moody. I noticed when they offered crackers as a snack she ate them so I shared my concerns with the manager and asked that if you notice she is very weak and not eaten anything all day, please offer her some crackers in private ( I even offered to pay extra) so that she has something to keep her going. They said no! They said they can’t give her crackers ( even though it is a item on their weekly menu) and I couldn’t provide any either. They were not willing to come back with any other possible solution. Dishonest - one morning my daughter had a full on meltdown at drop off. I didn’t want to give in as I’ve always believed short and sweet drop offs are best and if I take her home she will do it every day (I am so much guilt about this too). She kicked and screamed and they assured me they will let me know when she’s okay. I walked away and stood behind a wall so she couldn’t see me and I burst into tears. I could still hear her screaming crying down the hall. The teacher walked up to me and said don’t worry she’s all good now (while I could hear her crying and frantic). I said to her she isn’t fine she’s crying still and she didn’t know what to say back. She said she would inform me on the app when she’s settled down but I had already lost trust with any honest communication from them. Everyday I fetched her I would look at them playing before walking in. My daughter was always left isolated which none of the teachers trying to include her or comfort her. They were just hanging around. They would assure me at pick up she had a great day only to find out from my daughter how terrible her day was. Potty - her first week at school I informed the teachers multiple times that she is full potty trained but because this is a new, intimidating environment she will feel shy to ask to go to the toilet and she doesn’t know where it is because it’s a new nursery ( the toilets were not very close visual view from the class) so please remind her every few hours to go to the toilet. They didn’t. She wet her pants twice and when I reminded them to remind her they told me they can’t remind her, she’s 3 and she should know how to go on her own! Absolutely shocking. A lot of teachers are not qualified and not very friendly. Please ask for staff list so you can see who is actually qualified before you decide to move your child here, don’t just assume they all trained. Constant new staff and different staff everyday so it’s really difficult for your child to feel like there is a consistent carer they can grow a bond with. Would probably take many months to get close to the teacher. I have many more horrible stories but google has a writing limit. This nursery is very much a business that treats your toddlers like robots. First day at my daughters new nursery has been a night and day different. She loves nursery again, she loves her teachers, I have to bribe her to come home at collection. She has only been there 2 months now. Please moms, follow my advice on this one and if you do decide to try this nursery and your child struggles follow your gut. *Some of the reviews I’ve read on google are actually staff that work there so be aware of that too.

Bright Horizons staff have been brilliant at helping us settle our one year old in nursery. Going back to work and handing your child over to strangers is a big step, and the interactions with the warm, friendly staff at Bright Horizons have been so reassuring. I can see how much our son gets out of spending the day with other children and with professionals who understand child development and who involve him in a range of fun learning activities throughout the week. We also receive lovely thoughtful updates on his development via the app, along with occasional photos and a daily update on his meals (a much better & more varied diet than I have at work!), nap times and nappy changes. The building is characterful, well-loved and warm. There is so much in the news now about the underfunding of the early years education sector and it's appalling. The job these professionals do is so important for our society - critical to children's development and safety - and they should be appropriately paid for that work. I'm very grateful we have a place with a nursery where we feel confident our son is safe and cared for.
