We have had both my children attend teddies bright horizon over the past few years. They have fantastic app that keeps parents informed about child through out the day, amount of sleep or food your child had, what they ate etc. The staff were always great at keeping me updated on their progress and any concerns they had through. The facilities are clean, organised, and safe, and they have a fantastic selection of toys and activities. Overall, I would highly recommend them, both my children have thrived and loved going to teddies.

We couldn't be happier with the staff and the care that our children receive here. They love going to nursery!

My eldest went to the nursery and my youngest is there now so I have had children there for almost 7 years. Both started at 10 months so we went from the baby room right up to preschool. My children were happy there, bonding well with the staff and my youngest rushes in every morning. The nursery take parental preferences into account e.g. around napping and potty training. We use cloth nappies and they were happy to support our preferences and have a go, although it was a bit of a learning curve for some of the staff. The nursery offers long days (until 1830) if you need that and is conveniently located if you need to commute by train, within walking distance of Coulsdon South station. The food is good and made on site and one of my children had a food intolerance that was handled appropriately. They prepare well for school in the preschool room and my eldest transitioned to reception in school with no problems. The rooms were a bit tired looking but the recent refurb means it's a lot better now. They have previously refurbished the garden, so while the nursery doesn't have the best outdoor space they make good use of what they have. Some of the extra activities with visiting staff had to be stopped during COVID but they now have a visiting physical education coach and recently some animals came to visit. They have also reintroduced parents evening and a "big breakfast" event where parents come into the nursery for breakfast. The few times we have had issues (for example missing clothes or a reaction to the wipes used) the staff have responded well to feedback. There were some staffing issues a couple of years ago when a lot of staff left at once but these seem to be more controlled now. The nursery has brought in an app which means they are fairly consistent about passing on nap/eat/nappy info and updates on activities (previously an area of weakness). I'd really encourage anyone worried be negative reviews on Google to visit the nursery and speak to the staff, I'm very comfortable to recommend it based on my experience.

My son has been at bright horizons for 5 months now and loves it there. The staff are all really lovely and caring and there seems to be a good variety in the activity and experiences for the children. Longer opening hours are a bonus for when needed.

Highly recommend this nursery. My children seem very happy here and enjoy all the outdoor garden time. All staff are friendly, caring, passionate and plan lots of creative activities. The app is always used to track meals and sleep. The recent refurbishment has really improved the look and feel of the place.

Would avoid at all costs. In our experience it has been terrible, lack of staff, high turnover of staff, lots of agency/new staff so no consistency for the kids. Lack of communication and often hit by staff shortages resulting in having to turn away kids that are booked in on the morning they arrive. Often seems as though the children are left to their own devices and most staff can't give a handover or if they do it doesn't match with what the staff have recorded on the app.

Frustrated and waste of my morning, was told two days ago they had availability for my son and so I booked in for a show round only to turn up in the morning to be told they didn't know I was coming, and they did not have the availability I needed, need to communicate and be a little more organised I think
