YMCA Gungahlin Early Learning Centre

We love The Y. It feels like home and everyone is so lovely. The leadership of Emily is great, she is on top of everything and always there to talk when we need it. The chef Steve cooks delicious and nutritious meals each day. The communication of the educators' is excellent, we feel safe to send our son to the center and have faith that he will receive the best care we could ask for.

We have been with YMCA Gungahlin for over 5 years now, both my kids went to this centre and absolutely love it. The staff are amazing and takes great care of all the kids. The chef and the dining area are very unique and teaches the kids self discipline. The director Emily is excellent and nothing is ever a problem for her, very swift to attend to any issues. We have watched her grow from an educator to the centre director and it couldn’t have been in better hands. We wish YMCA Gungahlin and Emily all the very best and highly recommend it.

Could not recommend this child care centre enough! When touring other centres around the area, I was disappointed to find none of the staff interacted with my child and myself though. When touring YMCA, we had Sharka showing us around. My 4 and a half month boy reached out to her and she held and played with him through out most of our tour. All staff passing came and spoke to us, played/cuddled my child. My boy has now been enrolled in the centre for just under a year. The Director, Emily is such an amazing, kind hearted, friendly, loving woman. All educators are absolutely fantastic! My sons leading educator Kelsie is just beautiful! The centre is a fantastic family atmosphere due to all the wonderful staff!

We have been attending the YMCA for the past 4 years. Everyone from the chef, to the Director and each educator, are the kindest, most caring and supportive team and we couldn’t be happier with our two daughters attending. They have long term team members, some who have left and come back, and for any newcomers, they quickly learn the standard of care and communication. Highly recommend YMCA!

Words can not describe how fantastic YMCA Gungahlin ELC is! My daughter started in the nursery and continued throughout until she went to preschool. We have now had a son who was at another centre closer to home, well that didn't last long before we were enrolling him at YMCA. We trave further and in the opposite direction to get him there . The staff are beyond amazing! They listen. They genuinely care. They will cater to your child's routine/needs. The communication is great. We are so lucky to be a part of the Y family.
