Nurture One Children's Centre Kilmore

Having moved to Kilmore in the second half of 2024 and trying the main big childcare in town which my 5 year old didn't love we tried Nurture One (really the only other childcare in town). As my child was only going to be there for a few months before starting school I didn't have high expectations - but was honestly blown away. Carla and the other teachers in the 'big kids room' are amazing and managed to make connections with my child in VERY quickly (which always is a huge help at drop offs). The childcare is relaxed, playful and not scared to let the kids explore outside and get a little messy. The teachers are amazing, so patient, understanding and work together as a great team. It feels similar to what I imagine an 'at home daycare' would be like, very homey. Thank you to the teachers in the big room for welcoming my child and giving us a wonderful end to this phase of my child's life!!!

We were very hesitant to put our child ( boy 3 1/2 when started) into child care but Nuture One in Kilmore has been wonderful. The staff are lovely and easy to talk to, they answer any questions or concerns we have and our son really enjoys his time there. He even once said that Colleen his teacher was his best friend! They have since reported that he has made good friends with other children. We are very happy with the service and love having the updates with what he has been up to or eaten during the day.

Nurture One, Kilmore has been such a beautiful transition for our son who’s highly sensitive. They were accomodating to his needs of extra orientation and support. It’s a homely environment with lots of open ended play and Montessori like set up. The shared yard with the younger and older children is beautiful. The educators are so friendly and you can tell they enjoy their job and love the children.

The staff at nurture one in Kilmore are brilliant. The kids come home smiling every time telling us about their day. What they had to eat and how yummy it all is. The staff give our kids a sense of belonging by the kindness they provide and the way they communicate. When I drop the kids off I have no doubt they will be taken care off in the most professional and caring way. Thank you to all the staff at nurture one.

My son started at Nurture One Kilmore when he was 15 months old. From the get go he thrived with the caring and compassionate staff at the centre. He has met some new friends along the way, and the staff are always supportive of his needs. He is now three and a half and still kicking goals there.
