Having visited several daycare centres and not sure what decision to make. I had no hesitation with Indigo Montessori in Mt Hawthorn and I signed up immediately after my tour with Dani. The staff are so warm and welcoming, the venue is lovely with a large outdoor play area (including chickens!) and I love that the indoor areas are kept clean and tidy. During every visit, I am reassured that all the children seem very happy and well cared for by the amazing women who work here. Special mention to Dani, Karma, Kyra and Hannah who have been so wonderful and supportive throughout this process.

We have just enrolled our daughter to Mt Hawthorn Montessori and we couldn’t be happier. Warm inviting atmosphere, chickens, worm farm and green house along with plenty of outdoor and indoor play for learning and play. The staff have made both us and our daughter feel so comfortable from the get go. Feels like home away from home!

Enrolling my daughter at Montessori Mount Hawthorn was the best thing to happen to us as a family since moving to Perth last year. The educators nurture every child’s social and educational needs to help them become independent, confident, respectful children. Our family feel like part of a community! The empathy the educators show is just beautiful and it’s no surprise that my daughter looks forward to Monday mornings! A great childcare centre also needs good leadership. We are lucky to have Daniela as Montessori’s Manager. Daniela is experienced, efficient, professional, kind and empathic. The educators and Daniela are an asset and it is their knowledge, empathy and warmth that makes Montessori Mount Hawthorn a centre with a difference.

Indigo is a beautiful center with kind and caring staff. My child happily goes to “school” and looks forward to his day where he can run around and play with his friends. I love the outdoor space, and they make it a priority for kids to have outdoor time. They even have chickens, the kids collect the eggs and give them to the families. I know all the educators, and have a chat to them every morning and pick up. There is very little turnover so my child knows who they will see that day. They are progressing through the Montessori jobs and we get updates in our child’s portfolio. It’s a lovely home away from home.

Finally a genuine Montessori daycare following Maria Montessori's philosophy without any superfluous features. We went today to visit the place and were impressed. Dani, the center manager, is a true gem! We cannot wait for our toddler to join their group. Thank you again Dani.
