From our 1st encounter with CMS when my son was 18 months old we have loved the school and the philosophy. He loves school and describes it as his home away from home. My son definitely has a love for learning and it has been fostered well at CMS . I believe the school's caring, wholistic teachings (in conjunction with our parenting) have really prepared him well for his next phase in life.

My partner and I attended the school's Journey & Discovery two-part workshop this past weekend and loved it! It's designed for the parents to gain a deeper understanding of Montessori education and its focus on meeting the developmental needs of children. The two days were well thought out and planned, and the environment was extremely friendly. I'm a bit shy and awkward in social settings but very quickly felt like I was among friends. We learned so much by spending time in the actual classroom using the tools and resources the children actually use, and it not only gave me a hands on experience with Montessori, it also made some maths from my own childhood make sense and click for the first time! We would recommend this workshop to anyone with kids at the school or who are considering a Montessori education for their children. We had a very informative two days, and our five year old son was very excited to ask how we did at school!

My daughter has settled into Cycle 1 very well. Her teachers are caring and supportive. We were very impressed with the school from our first open day visit and have then spent 2 years in the toddler room. We continue to be impressed with the high level of learning, activities and special events our daughter gets to experience and I look forward to starting my younger daughter in toddler room next year.
