Avenues Montessori Children's House

My daughter use to attend here up till, end of January. We pulled her out due to moving and I can’t express how much I wish this centre was still close for us because they cared for my daughter, taught her, encouraged her to be her and most of all made sure she was looked after following up with her food allergies. Her centre after being here was so bad that they actually gave her foods with her allergies and forgot that she had an allergy when their chef was away. I cannot believe how terrible the new centre was and it goes to show just how much the Avenues team really care for their children and their needs. ARIEL MISSES YOU ALL. As a parent I cannot recommend this centre more than enough as I know full well that it’s going to be impossible to find a centre that’s this caring and supportive for my daughter. Anybody wondering about the Avenues team, they are incredibly and is deserving of more than a 5 star review ❤️

Avenues Montessori Children's House at Bowen Hills is a wonderful place for young people to learn and develop. Jo, Evelyn, and team (Joao, Pei, Alberto, Sandra, Lisa, Luz, and many others) have shaped the life of our daughter for the better, sharing the joy and gift of structured development and play. The value that Jo's team offer cannot be underestimated. The cost does not come close to the value, and I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

Sadly we had to leave Avenues Montessory Childrens House due to my Husband's job relocation. We live a bit far away but while he was working in the city we preferred the commute so that our son Jeremiah could access the quality of care that Avenues Montessori offers. Our experience here was terrific. Our son adapted very well, and Jo, Natsumi and the entire staff are very professional and sweet with the children. They truly inspire with their order and commitment in everything they do. Our son has a cow's milk allergy and they were always very careful about this. We also received a lot of support from the teachers during Jeremiah's Constipation treatment. They were very committed documenting everything in detail as per doctor's requirements. We loved the variety of resources they have for children, the continuous communication with parents, the continuous improvements and updates done to the playground always in benefit of the children, the individual learning plans for each child, My Journey- initiative at the end of every term and not to mention the conferences given by Jo in the evenings. They were very informative and beneficial. It has really been difficult having to leave this community. Our son Jeremiah learned a lot. We formally extend our gratitude for Jo, the Director and her wonderful staff. Our son already miss you all. We wish you all the best and we celebrate every single moment where Jeremiah grew up as part of this community. Thank you so much.

I would highly recommend Avenues Montessori. My family attended for over 7 years with my two children. The Avenues team have provided outstanding care and education for both my children. In particular for my daughter, who has a developmental delay, the caring team provided a supportive environment. They stepped up to learned sign language, and made many other adjustments for us. The Montessori program suited both my children. We had so many wonderful educators and a some of the staff have been there for the whole time we attended.

My daughter attended this Centre since she was almost 2 years old and only recently graduated from Kindy. Throughout the past 3 years, nothing but amazing and positive learning experience with the team. My daughter developed positive connections with all the educators and built memorable friendships with all the friends. It’s not just a daycare, it’s a community that everyone cares for each other. Jo, the director is amazing and extremely organised managing the children and the team. She always responds to emails and all the questions and that’s a very big tick for us. We always receive the positive communication and feedback that we hoped for. She ensures our concerns and requirements are met, at all times. It’s probably the best daycare/ Kindy in Brisbane. The children can learn so much about life, culture, relationships between one another and academic stuff. Thank you Jo and the team for your effort and hard work! I will definitely recommend this Centre to everyone! We will return :)
